(Tyler's P.O.V.)
"What?" She says in an annoyed voice. "Look, i've only known you for one day and.." I cut off. "Oh my god what." She is so impatient. "I think I like you." I say looking at my feet. She just stares at me with a blank face. "I don't need this." She walks off. I tried to grab her arm but she was too strong.
Nice going Tyler. I thought, She hates you now!
I walked to the lunch room kicking a locker. "You. Office now." says Mr.Amonz. I swear he hates me.
I walk to the office, while in the hallway I peak in the lunch room.
She's gone.
(Hailey's P.O.V.)
I ran out of the school. I HATE HIM! Then, I stop.
What am I doing? Why am I even mad? Urgggg.. I just want to... ALEX! I thought and I ran back too school. When I enter the lunch room she's sitting there worried.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey, you alright?" She asks concerned.
"Yeah got lost in the hallway." I lied, "Anyways, I'm hungry let's eat!"
I bit into my burger, trying to eat away my thoughts. "HAILEY!" Alex yelled. "Huh, what? Sorry. Was thinking of... homework for my Chemistry class." I lied. AGAIN.
"So.. how's school been for you so far?" She asks taking a sip of her water. "Interesting. I mean its not as good as home.. but I like it."
"I have a question." I raise an eyebrow, "Yes?"
"When you're homeschooled, do you get to stay in your pajamas?"
I almost spit out my water out of my mouth, "What kind of question is that? I laugh. "Hey, I just wanted to know."
The rest of the day was boring. BUT, Alex was in all of my classes, AND I didn't see he who shall not be named. Everything was GREAT!
Until I had to walk home. I was on my phone, then Alex sent me a text.
Hey you know Tyler Resendez?
Yeah why?
He's my brother.
I'm dead.
