Today was my birthday and I'm finally turning 18. Ever since I was young I've always loved my birthday. From my 1st to my 18th. I could already tell that today was gonna be a good day for me and for everyone else. I am currently at the mall with my sister Layla and my best friend Imani shopping for my birthday.
"Are we gonna be outta the house all day? I wanna go home." I said to Imani whining. I really wanted to go home I didn't wanna spend all day here.
"Stop whining and come on. Are going to foot locker to buy you some new shoes." She said. All of the stores we went in and out of they were buying every single thing for me like why can't I buy it myself. I got my own money so why not.
We walk in foot locker and I spot the perfect shoes for my birthday. It was a vivid pink air Jordan 12 Retro. I walked to it and picked it up. I went to the cashier to ask for my size.
"Hi , how may I help you?" Tha cashier asked smiling. I smiled back. "Hi , May I get these shoes in a size 7 please?" She nodded her head and took the shoe from me and went to the back. She came back with the shoes and the box and handed it to me. I pulled out my money to pay for it but I was stopped by a familiar voice. "I got it lul baby don't worry." I looked to see Lathan. I jumped on him and I hugged him.
"I missed you omg your back. I though you wouldn't make it." I said getting down from him looking up. Lathan was 6'10 while I stood at a height of 5'3.
"Well I wanted to surprise my babygirl on her birthday. I would miss it for the world." He said smiling. The cashier told him the total and he pulled it out and paid for my shoes. The cashier gave me the bag and we walked out of the mall.
"Boo can you take my picture please?" I ask Lathan giving him my phone. He nodded and took my phone and he took the picture.

I put my phone in my purse and hopped in Lathans car. Lathan took all my bags and he put them in the trunk of his car. He hopped in the drivers seat and he started the car and drove out of the parking lot of the mall.
