Love at first Bite

Piercing Screams

Ichiro sat in the living room, Laughing with his parents and playing a game. 

He was tying with his mother for first place.

 A loud crash sounded, causing Ichiro's ears to painfully ring. He couldn't hear anything and his vision was slightly blurry. 

When his vision cleared and he could see, he was met with an even worse sound. 

Screaming.

 He looked up and his eyes widened. He couldn't move.

 A girl around his age was there.

 He knew she wasn't human. He knew what she was just by looking at her. Long, Black hair. Bright, red eyes.

 To most people she would seem human. But she wasn't. He knew it.

 When you looked closer you could tell.

 Her skin was unnaturally pale. Her pupils were slits. Two of her teeth were Pointed and Could easily Draw blood. Her nails were unnaturally long. 

He knew.

 She was a Vampire. 

He jumped back as she lunged for him, Grinning madly.

It all happened so slowly.

His mother rushed at her. 

She knocked her away from him.

He watched his mother and the Vampire hit the wall, the shelf falling and the décor shattering from the impact of hitting the ground.

The vampire grabbed a shard of broken glass, Raised it above  her head and brought it down, harshly.

Into his mothers head.

The vampire shoved the bleeding woman off her and started towards him again.

He shielded his face and prepared for impact.

It never came.

He opened his eyes and immediately wished he hadn't.

 His father was standing in front of him.

His eyes were pure white and he was frozen there as something silvery was Floating in between him and the Vampire.

His soul.  

He watched fearfully as his father fell to the side, unmoving and unseeing.

The Vampire looked at him.

Then lunged for him again.

But this time he had no way of stopping her.
