Chapter 1 The night everything changed Warning explicit content

They left at 2:15 out the same door except for this time they took a left down a path. They walked into the woods and found the start of a hut in the woods so they spent ten hours in that spot. That night everything changed for them.

After Alex shut his eyes and talked to Tav, every once in awhile Alex would tease Tav about something that she did or was wearing. (Alex's POV)

I was making fun of Tav when I remember she was on her period. So I asked "Are you still on your period?" expecting the "its none of your business" but instead, she said "let me check" her hand plunged into her panties, I felt my face get hot. I hope she didn't see, but when she looked at me, she said "It fine, I think the last of it came out a little while ago so I'm good for now" I told her a sexist joke that my grandfather told me it goes like this "When a girl loses her virginity she becomes a slut but when a boy loses his virginity he becomes a man"

They went to sleep, the next morning Alex was up first, then a few moments later Tav got up and they started walking again. Until someone recognized Alex and called the police, the police found both Alex and Tav, so they ran into the woods. The cops got out of their car and started to chase them down. Tav hit her hip on a tree but kept running because she did want to go back to reality. Alex cut his stomach on a branch, the cut dug deep into his flesh but kept running and didn't even flinch. He couldn't go home he hated his family but could never say it to their faces. They ran and ran until they came to a cliff, there were two choices, jump into the waters below or get caught but the police. With the cops about twenty yards behind them they took a deep breath and plunged into the frigid waters.

(Alex's POV)

We slept next to each other we were asleep of maybe four or five hours. I got up with her face in my chest. I sat there for a minute. I thought to myself "she looks so cute when she's sleeping I wish we could just lay there for the rest of our lives but I heard someone saying something. I looked and saw that we weren't alone there was someone else. I guess Tav had gotten cold cause when I looked back at her she was awake. I told her to stay where she was so I could go see who it was. But I didn't have to I could see the police cars on the street. I told her to grab anything she needed she grabbed her bag and I grabbed mine. We started to run the cops saw us and started running after us. We didn't know where the hell we were going but we just kept running. We came up to some low branches mine was sharp as hell but I think Tavs was worse. We came to a cliff with water at the bottom. It was about a fifteen-foot drop. I hated heights it was worse cause there was water at the bottom and I didn't know what was under the water. The cops were about twenty yards behind us. But there was no choose neither of us could go back home. I hated my home it was the same thing over and over again I could not stand doing the same thing with my life, Wake up, get dressed, go to school, come home, "go to bed"(i never really slept before last night), repeat. I couldn't do it. So with slight hesitation, I pushed Tav as I jumped I made sure I hit the water first and Tav landed on top of me if I hit something and got knocked unconscious or died she wouldn't meet the same fate. Luckily there was nothing. It was about seven feet of water so I was fine but Tav still fell on top of me so it took a little more air out of me but I made it to the surface. I guess tav had hidden her head on my chest cause it hurt and she wasn't responding to anything so I put her on my back and swam to the first low spot I could find.
