"Fuck" i said realizing what team captured my new friend wolfie. "The Red Hand" they call themselves always hunt down the hidden players and make public spectacles of them in lobbies, they are going to do a public reveal of your character and identity. "Help me" you hear from wolfie as she gets teleported. Checking my map I notice they teleport her to a low level lobby tsk typical to try and make themselves look like gods. Getting to the lobby I see the event announcement and hundreds of players gathered from new to old and even players who haven't been active. The lobby quickly filled up to a max of 1,000 people most streaming and the streams have hundreds of viewers. "Just how much of a name did you make for yourself" I said biting my thumb. Event board read out "ladies and gentlemen tomororw 3pm-6pm a live reveal and execution of Shadow Wolf!" As a huge glass prison appeared in the middle of the lobby with wolfie trapped inside. Clearly she had already logged makes sense it being 3am in the morning and it's only Wednesday so school week. I sit in the lobby thinking about how I'm going to bust her out. Overhearing some gathered players share stories about encounters with Shadow Wolf one group sticks out the most. Instead of talking about how they could of captured The Shadow Wolf or bitching they talk about betrayel. Hmm I wonder as i begin listening to the 3 guys talk to a another female gamer. "Bitch got what she deserved thinking she was all high and mighty" the guys quickly agreeing with her like pathetic losers. "You ask me she Shouldn't have betrayed us and we could of saved her" "yeah i bet that guy she teamed up with won't even save her hahaha" they all laugh and walk towards the lobby bar to celebrate raids. Now i have to save her even if i didn't want to knowing her old team mates talked about her that way. But first a friendly visit to an old pal down town. I begin walking through a shady dark ally every player knows this route to the dark gamers lare the place for illegal trades cheats and even digital human. Almost like the black market but in a video game. Opening the steel door at the end of the ally way I enter a elevator and head down into a huge lobby opening with a bar pool table and several people enjoying their night. "YOO Dave! My man! What's cooking?" Mark yelled with excitment as he hops over the bar counter grabbing a Jack Daniels "I need your help" I said with a serious tone as Mark came to a stop "what's happening?" He asked beginning to wave people out. After everyone leaves i said looking him in the eyes "i need the Skull Brigade" Mark putting down the Jack at a near by table "What are you planning" he looked excited "I'm taking over the lobby to bust out Shadow Wolf" he jumps with excitement "YES! now this is going to be a fucking show!" he grins grabbing the Jack again "Its gonna be a bloody massacre" he said with a British accent as he pulls out a keycard "Actiavte this in your inventory when you're ready and let the bots do the work"
Showtime. The event is 5 minutes away from starting and the lobby is already full with the most popular streamers. This is bigger then any other gathering in gaming history. Everyone wants to know who the Shadow Wolf is after 4 full years of not knowing. All the more reason to bust her out. This will definetly make the news... Perfect. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE GAMING WORLD!" You hear the leader of the Red Hand announce "Y'all have suffered under the hands of this beast long enough!" The crowd chants "I Zack leader of The Red Hand am here to deliver what everyone wants!" more members of the hand gather around the crowd ready to defend against any attack. "Today i will reveal the identity of THE SHADOW WOLF!" He says as the crowd cheers. One of the hands guards notice me "HEY! we were expecting you" I smirk as i activate the card Mark gave me "you weren't expecting this" I said as i dissappear and a heavy fog rolls into the lobby and covers the glass entirely with a mist barrier so it's unreachable. "What the fuck!" The leader of the hand says as the lobby stats change "LOBBY ZONE PVP ACTIVATED :) GOOD BLOODY HUNTING" read above the lobby. BANG you hear a loud shot as an explosion accurs at the main gate and red eyes appear. "SKULL BRIGADE!" One of the members yell as all of them begin to aim weapons towards the gate. "Fire!" Zach yelled as bullets start flying. "What the fuck are they!" A member yells before getting his neck slit open. The Skull Brigade a elite unit of NPC's gained from the black market for a high price. It's a 10 member unit of fully kitted men but these "men" aren't men but skeletons. Wearing special forces tactical gear and having red eyes they quickly and tactically move through the fog mowing down anyone and anything standing in their path. No matter how many rounds you throw at them nothing will stop the blood bath. Hell on earth is the only logical explanation. "Retreat!! No need to lose anymore men" Zach yelled as he runs out of the lobby center along with the rest of the gathered players finding shelter and cover. The lobby fully empty now i stand in the center as the skeletons gather waiting for an order. I let wolfie out of the glass "holy shit! You gave a favor to mark didn't you? For me?" She said shocked "something like that" I responded "Waiting for orders sir" the alpha skeleton says. "Hunt" i said knowing fair well the skeletons would execute anything breathing in town door to door.
