I walk in my short dress with black heels, I died a few years ago as a adult but I seem like a teenager now. "Mother!" I hear my daughters yell and I flinch a little. "Hello daughters" I say as I look at them. "They're here" my daughters says and I look at my friends and I smile. "Are you ready?" My friend, Grace, asks. Grace is wearing a short red dress with a long black cloak. "I'm ready are you melanie?" My other friend, Ella says and she's wearing a purple and black dress. "Ready" I say and I'm smiling and I start to walk around. "Ever since I was a girl my one mother vowed I must find the way to power through a noble brow I married once for love then my senses came i must marry for the stature of my husband's name" I sing as I walk and I sit on a bench. "Onto marriage number two I knew what I had to do and my poor husband fell ill in a year or two solved problem number one, now problem number two, his doe- eyes little girl with gentle point of view would I ship her off to school? No! I told her if she stayed that she'd have to keep her earn and so she became the maid!" I sing and smile and I notice not too far a annoying person who tries to make me be good. "That was your past you don't have to be the same way" Jack Frost tells me. "She was lazy" one of my daughters sing. "She was crazy" the other daughter sings. "She was talking to the mice" the first daughter sings again. They were talking about their stepsister. "She was hopelessly naive, so she had to pay the price I moved her to the attic out of sight and out of mind I could've thrown her out, but I'm benevolent and kind" I sing and don't listen to Jack. "You weren't then but you can be now" Jack says. "Mother your heart's too big for you!" My daughters sing. "I knew what I had to do after all, difficult children will take advantage" I sing as I get up still not listening to Jack. "Please listen to me melanie" jack says as he grabs my left wrist. "So you lock them up throw away the key! There's one on every every family tree!" I sing as I pull my wrist away from jack. "Ungrateful" my first daughter sings. "Hateful" my second daughter sing. "Vile too! The things she put you through!" My daughters sing. "Is in the past!" Jack says as he goes in front of me. "Break their spirit so they obey! Now they'll do anything you say maybe you'd call it cruel but others will call it love tough love" I sing as I push jack away from me. "No one calls it that" Jack says. "I ask you is it a crime to strive for perfection in all things?" I ask my friends. Before my friends can answer jack picks me up and flies away with me. "Put me down" I say to jack. "Not going to happen" jack says.  "why not?" I ask. "You'll go back to your bad friends" Jack says. "so?" I say. "I know you can be good" Jack says. "I can never be good" I say. "Why not?" Jack asks. "I was reborn evil so its my purpose to be evil" I say. "you don't and I can help you be good" Jack says. "Good luck" I say. Jack takes me to a cold place and I realize it's Santa's workshop. "I'm not welcomed here" I say. "As long as I'm near you, you're allowed to be here" Jack says. Weeks later I walk around the workshop alone, I'm trusted to not be babysat. I can't stop thinking about Jack. I need to leave or i might end up in love with him. I get some food from the kitchen and I walk to my room, I notice Jack and I quickly walk to my room. I have been avoiding him for a while. "Hey Melanie can we talk?" Jack says. "can't talk, I'm busy" I say as I quickly go into my room and Jack follows behind me and after I put my food on a table he holds onto to me. He has his hands on my waist and I'm facing toward him. "why are you avoiding me?" Jack asks. "I-I'm not saying and let me go" I say as i try to get away from Jack. "not until I know why you're avoiding me" Jack says. "it's because she's in love with you!" Kangaroo says as he passes my room, he hears because the door is open and I blush a lot. "is that true?" Jack asks. "no, it's not, I'm bad and you're good, I have fire powers, you're ice and snow, and we could never end up together" I say as I avoid looking at him. "you're not bad, I like your powers and I love you even when we're opposites" Jack says. "really?" I say. "yes really" Jack says. Me and him smile and he kisses me.
