Chapter Three: Kiss?!

A/N: This chapter took me so long because I really didn't know what to do with it. Also there were distractions, too. But here it is. Enjoy. :)

"Doctor is he going to be alright," I hear someone ask. The doctor says "he should be fine as long as he rest." I try to open my eyes and I am blinded by bright lights. I squint because it's way too bright in here and I realize I am in a hospital. Why am I at a hospital? I start to recall the events of last night and I feel worry wash over me. Is Dean alright? I finally open my eyes all the way and I look at who is sitting next to the bed. I smile a little and gently touch Dean's head. Dean has his head on the bed and he is sleeping. Seth says "oh you're awake Rome. You had us all really worried, but I think Dean was the most worried out of us all." I look up at Seth and say "well, I wasn't going to let Stormy kill him." Seth says "well, Stormy got caught and we probably won't see her for a while." We both smile and I feel movement next to me. I look at Dean and say "hey man." Dean says "Rome..... I am glad you are alright. I don't know what I would have done if something would have happened to you." I feel horrible for making everyone worry, but I wasn't going to let Dean get hurt. I look down at my chest to see all the bandages and I say "Dean I wasn't going to let Stormy hurt you. That woman is a total nut job." Dean laughs a little at that and says "yeah and I was an idiot for trying to get with her." Seth says "I have to get going you guys. Oh and Rome the doctor said that you need to rest so I will tell Hunter about this." I smile at Seth and say "thanks man." I watch Seth leave and then I feel someone hugging me.

Dean is hugging me almost crying and I gently hug him back. I ask "Dean are you alright?" Dean doesn't speak at all and he just continues to hold onto me. All I can do is hold him, but part of me says that I need to let him go. I don't want to let him go and Dean says "Rome.....it was my fault.... I tried to do things and I caused her to...." He trails off and I quietly say "it's not your fault Dean." The doctor walks in and says "um Mr. Roman I am hear with your release papers." I say "alright I will sign them." The doctor hands me the clipboard with the paper on it and I find it a little hard to sign it since Dean didn't want to move. I sign the paper finally and hand the clipboard to the doctor. He leaves the room and I return my attention back to a now shaking Dean. I say "Dean we need to get out of here." Dean looks at me only for a moment and soon gets off the bed grabbing a bag. I move to the edge of the bed and put my feet on the floor. I look up at Dean who is standing over by the door and I get up walking with him outside. I cover my eyes a little because the sunlight is pretty bright and Dean laughs. I ask "what's so funny?" Dean laughs more shaking his head and says "you are acting like you are a vampire." I punch him in the arm and say "yeah yeah Dean." We walk over to his car and I get into the passenger seat waiting for him. I watch as Dean throws the bag into the back seat and then sits in the driver seat. We both start smiling and Dean gets the car going. We drive off and I watch as Dean drives nowhere near the hotel or arena.

I look at Dean with a questioning expression and ask "Dean where are we going?" Dean smiles so sweetly and says "um I thought since we have today off we could go hang at the beach today." I think 'is this Dean's way of making it up to me for the Stormy thing or does he really like me as more than a friend?' I spot the blush appearing on Dean's face and I say "sounds like a great idea Dean." I smile at him and he looks away from me with a huge blush on his face. I'm starting to think that Dean likes me a lot more than he wants to admit. I feel my face get warm too and I keep the thoughts in my head to myself. I watch as everything goes by the car window and I see the beach. Dean parks the car close to the sand and I don't see anyone here at the beach. Now I am really suspicious about what Dean is planning and before I can say anything he is already out of the car. I think 'well, I have to do something or else I will lose him again.' I get out of the car and watch Dean run down to the water. I shake my head and follow after him running. Dean laughs at me and starts running away from me. I roll my eyes at him, but I take part in his little game by chasing after him. Dean is fast, but I catch up to him grabbing him around the waist. Dean looks up at me since he is facing me and I smile at him. His face gets bright red because of us being so close to each other and I feel my smile get bigger. We just look at each other for a long time and then we fall down onto the sand. I land on top of Dean and I look down at a very red Dean Ambrose.

Dean asks "um Rome... what are you thinking?" I lean down and whisper in his ear "something I should have done a long time ago." Dean tries to protest, but I cover his lips with mine. I can't believe that I am actually kissing him, but I start to feel horrible. I start to stop the kiss, but then Dean wraps his arms around my neck pulling me back into the kiss. I feel a little better now that I know he is alright with this and I lick his bottom lip. Dean opens his mouth and I let my tongue explore his mouth. We break the kiss because we need air and I look at Dean. Dean looks up at me and says "um Rome that was um very good." I smile at him and say "yes it was. We should get out of here though. People are starting to show up." Dean says "oh yeah." We get up off the ground and to my surprise Dean takes my hand in his as we walk back to his car. We get into the car and Dean asks "what should we do now?" Someone in the back seat says "maybe you should make out more." We both turn to the person in the back seat and I ask "is that you Breanna?" Breanna says "well, of course brother." I sigh looking at her and ask "why are you here exactly?" Breanna laughs somewhat like she's planning something and says "well, mom wanted me to come see you. So I decided to come here, but you weren't at the arena. Seth told me you and Dean would be here so I came here." Dean says "Rome you never said you had a sister." I look at Dean and say "I just never really wanted to talk about family."

Dean shrugs starting the car and we head over to the arena. We all get out of the car heading towards the locker room and I open the door to find Seth making out with Madeline. Seth and her look up as us smiling innocently. Dean laughs a bit and says "whoa there Seth. Such a lady's man." Seth glares at us and says "you guys are not supposed to be here. You both have the week off." Dean says "no way. I don't want to have a whole week off. Not cool man." I look at Dean and say "hey we have to listen to the boss." Dean turns to me and puts on his pouting face. I say "don't do that. You know I can't resist that." Dean and I start laughing as everyone looks at us like we are crazy. Breanna says "you two go back to the hotel. I want to have a look around the arena." I growl and say "you better be careful and if anyone does anything you better let me know so that I can kick their ass." Breanna laughs and says "alright Rome." I take Dean's hand and we leave the arena heading for the hotel. As we get to the hotel, we see a crowd by the entrance and as we get closer I see someone laying there. Dean asks "who is that?" I say "I have no clue, but come on." I pull him with me around to the back of the hotel and lead him up the back stair well. Dean says "Rome stop pulling me so fast. Jeez you are going to rip my arm off." I smirk and pull Dean really close to me. I say "I wouldn't do that to you Dean, but I will do this." I gently kiss Dean and hold him close to me. Dean kisses back and I feel his arms wrap around me. We break away and Dean says "come on Rome."

I follow Dean as he leads the way to the room and he gets the door open. Dean asks "who the hell are you?" I look into the room and there is a girl all dressed in black. Her face is hidden by a mask and I actually want to know who she is. The girl says "I have been waiting to see you boys. I have a question for you both." I take a closer look at her and I see raven feathers in her hair. Dean says "hell no. get out of our room." I keep hold of Dean's hand as the girl gets closer and she asks "what happened to Stormy? Where is my sister?" I say "she is probably in jail or prison right now for trying to kill Dean and for shooting me." The girl says "you lie." She looks really hurt by what I said and Dean says "it's the truth." The girl says through her broken voice "I don't believe you." I step closer to her and quietly ask "what is your name?" The girl is crying and says "my name is Marie." I feel bad for her and I say "well Marie I'm sorry to tell you but your sister is in jail." Marie continues to cry and she runs past me out the door. Dean asks "should we go after her?" I shake my head no and walk over to the bed flopping down onto it. Dean closes the door and crawls onto the bed sitting next to me. I reach up and pull him down to lay next to me. Dean starts laughing and I pull him close to me.

I say "Dean you mean a lot to me." Dean blushes brightly and says "I-I you mean a lot to me, too." I smile sweetly and give Dean a long gentle kiss. Dean moves even closer to me and I hold him tighter as we kiss. I hear someone say "oh my god." We both look up and Seth is standing in the doorway. Dean says "oh hey Seth." Seth asks "what the hell are you two doing?" I sit up on the bed and say "Seth um we were just kissing. You are acting like we were doing it." Seth says "I have to go." I say "Seth wait." Too late because he has already stormed out of the room and Dean looks up at me. I say "um well Seth has feelings for me, too. I just I couldn't bring myself to tell him that I really liked you." Dean says "Rome it's alright. I'm sure Seth will be fine. We should really get some rest. It's already 1:30 in the morning." I nod kissing Dean's forehead and lay down holding him. We fall asleep holding onto each other and I slip into a deep sleep. In my dream I see Stormy and she is laughing evilly. Why the hell is she in my dream and why is she laughing like that?
