chapter 5 -the ball

Rose POV

I realized Justin is not give his attention to the assignment but he focus on me. I don't want to look at his face so I turned my face and look Hawk is stare at us

"Hawk" I called him
"Yes ?" hawk said
"Can you give me the bottle in your hand" I asked
"Um.. sure" he said and give me
"Wow rose, you're really focus today. Not like before" Astoria said
"I just want to get a good grade for you Astoria" I said
"That's really kind of you" Astoria said
I just laughed

"Well, Rose.. I..." Justin said
"What is it ?" I asked
"I don't have partner for tonight...so.... I think... I want to---"
"Sorry but rose is going with me" hawk said jealous
"Is that true Rose ?" Justin asked
"Yeah... Why ?" I asked
"Um.... Nothing" he said and focus on the assignment. But before that he stare at Hawk

I don't know why. 'What's the problem with him'

Hawk POV

I'm so mad at the boy. How can she steal my girlfriend. Well not girlfriend but girlfriend to be. I have to make sure he don't have a chance to get to Rose

"Hawk are you okay ? You seems mad at him" Rose asked
"Uh, I'm okay" I said. Sorry Rose, I can't tell you
Rose check my face. I think my face is red
"Um. Ok" she said and focus to the assignment

The night has arrive. Tonight is the night. I have to tell her what I feel. Since the ball at Cinderella castle, I don't have to pick her. I go to the castle with the others

"Hey guys, where's rose ?" Joy asked
"Probably in her room of course" Travis said and laughed
"It's not funny Travis" Ling Ling said and punched him at arm's
"Aw"
I didn't hear them so much. My eyes are looking for rose and I saw her coming

She is the most beautiful girl I ever seen
"Hi hawk" she said
"Uh ? Hey rose. You look beautiful tonight" I praised her. Only my team, her family, the teacher and I can praised her. Only us
"Thank you. You look handsome too" she said and go to the other

"Hey guys" Rose said
"Hey rose" they greeted her
"You looks great" Astoria said
"Thanks you Astoria" rose said
"Okay, enough with the praise. Rose, care to dance ?" I said
"Sure" rose said and put her hand on mine
"Aw, they look so cute" Ling Ling said

I dance with rose. I can see the princesses glared at rose but I don't care. I can take care of her if they make something to her. Sometimes the princesses is kinda obsessed especially Ruby

"Best fairytale ever" she said slowly but I still can hear it. I smiled at her and she smiled at me. She's beautiful. I don't know why I didn't notice before. If this a dream, please don't wake me up

We dance and sing a song together

Everyone clapped at us. Except, Justin and the princesses and of course Ruby. Justin glared at me and he go to outside. I know he want to do something

Vicky POV

"So you want rose huh ?" I asked Justin
"Of course. She the pretty girl I ever met" Justin said
"And I want hawk" Ruby interrupted us
"So you want rose. I can make it true for you" I said and laughed
"Really ? Yes. This time i have to make sure I get rose" Justin said
"And i get hawk" Ruby said
We all laughed evily
