I furrowed my eyebrows at the message Bran sent me yesterday.

"ɪ ɴᴇᴇᴅ ᴀ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sᴘᴀᴄᴇ, ɪᴛ's ɴᴏᴛ ʏᴏᴜ, ɪ ᴊᴜsᴛ ɴᴇᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴄʟᴇᴀʀ ᴍʏ ʜᴇᴀᴅ ғᴏʀ ᴀ ᴡʜɪʟᴇ."

I went almost everywhere, looking for him, he didn't come to school yesterday and he ignored my calls, was he trying to avoid me?

I then opened the boy's locker room, it looked empty but I still walked around. My eyes then caught the pale haired male,"Brandon, there you are -" I approached him to see that he had two white coloured pills in his hand and the pill's container in his other hand.

"What're you doing?" I asked as he just looked back at me.

"...It's nothing." He soon answered.

"Oh really?" I said as I quickly snatched the container out of his hand and read what it said.

"Natalie stop, okay?" He took it back from me and put it in his bag.

"Antidepressants?" I asked with tears in my eyes and I watched as his eyes trailed away from mine.

"And what is this?!" I exclaimed as I tossed my phone at him,"Is this why you needed space? Why didn't you tell me?"

He just stood silent.

"Say something!" I held onto his shirt,"Why are you just standing there?!"

"I'm sorry, okay?!" He held on to my arms and shook me, tears already down his face,"I'm sorry that I can't be normal like you, I'm sorry that I need pills to keep me sane okay? Is that what you wanna hear? Huh? Is it?!"

"Brandon..." My voice lowered.

"You pity me now, don't you? Your whole perspective of me change, am I right? You think I'm mental and that I'm sad...And That's exactly why I didn't tell you." He let go of me and sat on the bench.

I sat beside him and watched as he messed up his hair.

"Brandon," I said,"Bran..." I laid my hand on his knee.

"Could you stop that?" I heard him ask.

"Stop what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Stop talking to me like I'm fragile and ready to burst any minute, stop looking at me like I'm a bird with a broken wing, just stop!" He removed my hand from off of him,"I'm still me, I'm still 'Bran' that you always lean on for help or if something is bothering you. I'm still your best friend...that you love...right?"

"Bran," I said,"I think it's time for you to lean on me for help." I stretched my arms out for me to embrace him and accepted and wrapped his arms around me and cried.

He told me everything, about Hillary, about his state and that it started when he heard the news of her death and how sad he was...

I sniffled as I quickly wiped a tear that fell. I watched as Nathan opened his eyes and looked over at me,"Aw, crying for me little sis?" He said with a small smile.

I chuckled,"No stupid, I'm glad that you're awake though." I moved closer to his bed,"How's your head?"

His head was bandaged, all around. His smile wasn't the same as before, whenever he would smile this time, he would like he was high, so free and as if he had not a care in the world.

"Well, I would be lying if I didn't say that it hurts. I'll tell you that for sure. Other than that, I'm pretty good." He replied.

"Nathan," I called. "Yeah?" He asked.
