"Miss. Brindley!"
I looked around groggily and yawned slightly before I realized I was sitting in the middle of my college class.
"S-sorry, Sir..." I appologized and took notes quickly. The rest of class went by as slowly as the first day. It was so boring. Ugh. At least it was Friday! When I thought about that I perked up slightly, I was going by to see Lewis. That nerdy son of a bitch still owes me five pounds from grade school! I haven't seen him for like a month! I miss him... but that's what happens when you got a sibling.
"That's it for today, have a nice weekend," the teacher announced and I got out the door as soon as I could. I went back to my dorm and packed for a few days. Lewis promised that I could finally meet his co-workers!
"Where're you off to?" Gabby, my roommate, chuckled as I stuffed clothes into a backpack.
"My brother's place, duh," I answered and finished packing.
"Lewis Brindley's house?" she grinned. God, she was a total fangirl.
"Yes, Gabby."
"I told you, my name is Gabriela!"
"I'm pretty sure I know your name... Gabby," I smirked and picked up my bag.
"Awww, could we meet up later?"
"For what?" I asked, it came out colder than I intended it to, but ever since Lewis became "internet famous" or whatever with his gaming channel, I mean I see why he did. Even I find him and Simon entertaining, especially in person. Sorry, getting off track, ever since Lewis became popular, people have tried to use me to meet him. A lot of my "friends" had been like that. I didn't know who I could and couldn't trust.
"W-well... I mean you don't have to..."
"It's to meet Lewis, it's it?!" my voice raised and I was already walking out the door. I don't need people in my life who don't like me for me. People who like the Yogscast for the Yogscast, I've had enough of that.
I texted Lewis as I got into my car and started driving to his house. It took a bit, but it was worth every minute. When I got there, I got my backpack out and knocked on his door.
"CAROLINE!" to my most pleasant surprise, Simon opened the door and gave me a bear hug, which I struggled to returned.
"Hey, Simon!" I said with a grin. He's one of those people you could just talk to all day and not get bored.
"So, how's school?" he asked, letting me go.
"Boring as ever, where's Lewis by the way?"
"He's out back, you should probably come in," he smiled and let me in.
I walked to the back and chuckled as I saw Hannah sitting in his arms. I walked up behind them and tapping Lewis's shoulder, he almost knocked Hannah over when he jumped up.
"Lewis, can I meet your co-workers today?"
"Sure, sure. Ask Simon to take you, I'll be there later. Right now I'm kinda having a moment..." he sighed and held Hannah closer, I smiled and nodded.
"Okay, by the way I'm spending the weekend here!" I said quickly and walked back inside, I heard him chuckle before I quickly closed the door behind me.
I asked Simon if he could take me to their work place, Yogtowers, he agreed to take me and we drove in our separate cars, I just followed him there. When we got there, I texted Lewis as I realized how awkward this would be. I sighed and walked in after Simon, then a brilliant idea popped into my head.
"Oi, Simon! What if I came in after you and acted like I was a fangirl who found out where Yogtowers was?" I said, a grin slowly creeping upon my face. He nodded and told me the floor to enter on the elevator, so a about minute after he went I called the elevator back down. I put in the number and up I went, through the doors and there I was. My heart already started racing. Right, fangirl... fangirl... hmm. Well, my facial expression was nothing to worry about as I stood in awe already. I grinned as I saw someone walking in the halls. I ran up to them and pretended to fangirl.
"Oh my god! You're part of the Yogscast! Oh my god! Oh my god!" I squealed, he was a tall man with dirty blonde hair, he wore a hoodie and jeans, I noticed his shoes had different colored shoe laces too.
"Uhhh..."
"It's so cool to meet you! I saw Simon walk in here, I followed him and what a lucky guess of a floor number- well, actually there were more like ten guesses, but I'm here!"
"W-what? S-si-simon! You-you've attracted a-a fangi-girl!" he stuttered and his face was seriously red. I fell to the ground laughing and few people rushed out of there offices. Simon came out of his, trying to keep a straight face, obviously he failed, but he tried.
"What was that, Duncan? A fangirl you say?" he said with a grin and I was still on the ground, crying of laughter.
"Oh, I-I see..." he muttered, his face was an even deeper shade of red and I forced myself to calm down so I could introduce myself.
"Hi, I'm Caroline..." I said, trying to hold back the laughter and held out my hand, he shook it and nodded, "I'm sorry you were the one to get trolled, I mean not really, but I'm kind of sorry."
"I-it's fine," he said and smiled, I smiled back and went to Simon.
"Well, are you going to show me around?"
"Nope!" he smiled and my smile quickly went to a glare.
"Thanks..." I muttered sarcasticly and he started walking away to his office.
"Yeah, I've gotta record, can't show you around," he stuck his tounge out at me before disappearing to his office.
Well, this was going to be LOADS of fun...
