Silent Love

Their eyes met. Both of them conveying their silent love for each other.

One particularly dark rainy day, she got a 'love letter'.The name which she yearned to see was written on the letter.A wide smile tainted her lips.

She opened the letter:

"Evel. I know you can feel the connection between us. Whenever I look at you it feels different than any girl I've ever seen. It feels as if I can feel the thread joining us. As if our souls are connected with each other.
But why do you try to avoid me? Why do you always hesitate to look at my eyes? You are the only person in my heart. You bring happiness to my every sorrow.I want to give you everything you want.

I love you. I loved you since the first time I saw you. You're all in my mind.

She took a deep breath. Her face now devoid of any emotion, cold as ice.No trace of the happiness before. She called to meet him at an empty road.

She looked at him her eyes full of unshed tears. Patrick went near her.

"I..I can't bring you happiness." She choked on her own saliva.

"What are you saying?" He asked confused.

"Even though there's love in our hearts forget about it." She cried desperately.

"How can I forget this face of yours which makes my heart beat faster everytime I see it?"

"What face? This face of mine is the reason why I have been bullied for years since I was four years old. I am an ugly wench for everyone.Since my childhood I've been bullied and ragged by everyone with no one to stand for me.

I am a curse to everyone. My father hates me. He probably wants to throw me away in a river. My mother beats me like crazy. She beats me many times a day. She humiliates me in front of all my friends by beating me on the road furiously.

Is this fake smile the reason why you feel for me? There are only tears and loneliness in my life. When I myself am struggling to find a small ray of happiness then how can I give you happiness."

"I'll wait."

"You will always wait for me but how can I be yours when I'm losing myself to darkness. I don't have anyone. All of them betrayed me. My every friend have turn their back on me.

I don't want to cover you in the darkness where I'm living. It's better if you LET ME GO. I can't be a good lover. I am sorry. I love you 2. Please Let me go."
With her face full of tears she pulled his tie to bring his face down to her level and captured his lips in a passionate kiss.

They hugged each other crying and then she went far away. Evelyn and Patrick both were 'Close Yet Far Away'.
