I originally wrote this for my ELA class and I decided to share it with you all.

“As I have concluded in my research of the animatronics they seem to become more lively at night and as the days progress. During the day they work exceedingly well with the children, they don’t seem to mind the children pulling at their fur and accidentally throwing pizzas at their bodies. I have found a spare suit in the storage room and i decided to look inside, I opened up the back of the empty suit and saw so many crossbeams, wires, and cogs. Their engineering is fantastic for this kind of robot; they are built very well.” Loud banging noises started to echo the voicemail.
“Wait, can you hear that? I have to be a little more quieter they can hear me… As I continue with my research I found out their purpose for trying to get the security guards away, their ambition is to avenge the children who went missing during that one night that one simple night. I wish I could talk more but I’m going to leave you alone to take care of yourself, good luck and I will talk to you tomorrow.” The voicemail ended.
“What did he mean by ‘They become more lively at night.’? Am I supposed to be worried about this?” I wondered, watching the monitors to make sure the animatronics didn't move they seemed harmless enough. This place was abandoned since ‘87 I don’t even know why I took this job but it pays great, $120 dollars a week. I kept watching the monitors as I looked at the camera in Pirate Cove the fox was looking directly at the camera. “WHAT! WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY MOVE!” I shouted watching closely at the red fox, but not for too long I did have a certain amount of power. I wish I would have listened closer to that voicemail… I checked the Pirate Cove camera pretty often to make sure that fox didn’t move. I pushed the button that turns on the light to the door and saw a purple animatronic bunny who probably scampered to the door without me noticing, I quickly closed the door.
“WHEN DID HE GET HERE?! HOW CAN THEY MOVE SO FAST!?” I panicked watching my monitors hyperventilating, I switched to the main camera seeing the bunny back in its place but the chicken was now gone.
“Great… Now Clucky McClucksters is gone.” I sighed but I knew that wasn’t the chickens real name; I bit my lip hearing pots and pans banging together from the kitchen, why would there be sounds from there? I would check but the camera in the kitchen has audio only, they need to get that fixed. I quickly checked the lights from the left door luckily there was nothing there, then I quickly checked the lights from the right door and there she was the chicken of nightmares, I watched her squinty face carefully before quickly trying to close the door but it was jammed.
“No, please no…” I have never been that scared in my life I started shivering looking at my watch, it was only 3AM I still had 3 more hours. I waited for Chica the Chicken to come and grab me but she didn’t, I checked the lights again and she was gone I gave a sigh of relief as I looked to the monitors again seeing Chica in the Party Room then I realized that I haven’t check Pirate Cove in a while I quickly checked the camera and saw Foxy in a running position, hopefully he won’t move if he does I’m done for… Watching the cameras took lots of power I’m only at 43% and it’s still 3AM, I have to be more careful. I checked up on Foxy again in the Pirate Cove camera and he was gone!
“AH! WHAT DOOR DOES HE POP OUT FROM!” I quickly shut both doors intervening the fox from entering then a loud bang came from the left door I heard it about 3 times, I was out of breath as I looked back at the cameras seeing Foxy back at Pirates Cove. So he resets every time that’s great. The doors opened back up revealing nothing behind them, I checked my watch again and it was almost 5AM great one more hour in this prison. Who knew that a pizzeria that children love would be such a nightmare at night I just wish this nightmare would end, sadly it’s only 5AM just one more hour to go. I checked that cameras once more then putting the monitor down seeing the most horrifying thing I’ve seen all day it looked like the main animatronic Freddy Fazbear but this one was empty and golden his ears were frayed and he had no eyes. I flipped the monitor back up then down again to see the Golden Freddy was gone, I looked at my power seeing is quickly go down 3%, 2%, 1%. It was still 5AM I had only a few minutes left until 6AM I closed my eyes as the power went to 0% and shut off footsteps could be heard outside the left door as an animatronics face lit up on the darkness of the hall playing a happy little tune that went on for a while.
“This is it… Please don’t hurt me…” I shivered as the music stopped and footsteps walked inside the office my heart beat faster and faster every second. The footsteps stopped and it grew silent in the room, before anything could pop out at me and take me away the clock struck 6AM and i was free to go, I survived my last night at Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria and got my check for $120 dollars. They then asked me if I wanted extra money I could work a sixth night, but I said I would think about it and I’ll save that for another time but I am just glad to be alive.
