Chapter 1

I glanced into the mirror. Dark, brown hair, pale face, with a nasty frown accompanying it. Yes, that was me, Suzy Carnito. Identical twin sister of Scarlett Carnito, which was hard to believe, considering how beautiful and popular she was, how boys drooled over her and girls shot her scornful looks of jealousy..but befriended her to stay popular.

Even her name was amazing. Scarlett Carnito. Sounded so perfect..Suzy Carnito was like a camel in the North Pole..just..unsuitable. Maybe my parents gave her the better name because she was better than me from the moment she was born. From potty training to popularity at school, she always achieved faster.

We were both born with brown hair but hers grew longer than mine and they were so silky. Mine got into knots every day! Her face was smooth and it gleamed with beauty. I had freckles all over my face that made me look like a dotted-freak! We both had blue eyes, but hers were bigger and the way she winked would make any guy faint. I had small eyebags under my eyes and even though my eyes looked almost as pretty as hers, they were hidden under my spectacles that ruined the effect.

I was just that average, soft-spoken girl who rarely opened her mouth at school and during free period would just carry her books and push through the crowds of ignorent teenagers to get to class. Despite my sister being renowned, I was completely unknown.

Of course I liked Scarlett, she was definitely not a mortal enemy or anything, she was like a best friend to me after school, we'd talk about school, well, she'd talk about school since my life wasn't that interesting. I would pretend to listen attentively, but honestly, I was just trying not to hurt her feelings.

She would barely stop to ask me how my day was, but I couldn't blame her. She was doing me a favour by not gloating at me and insulting me for my lack of friends. But there was one thing that I would always think of, even more than studies, and that was, or rather he was, Tony.

My secret crush, Tony looked like an angel. With his blonde hair and his 6-pack that always showed through his tight shirts, he was definitely eye candy. Not just to me, but half the girls in the school, maybe even some gays.

Of course, no one but I knew about Tony, or else Scarlett would harrass me every night about him. Mainly because we rarely converse, even though we're lab partners. But I was going to change that...when I was brave enough to ask Scarlett to help me. Because, frankly, she was a guy-expert.

Taking in a deep breath, I sighed, immediately regretting while I said,

"Scarlett, I need your help."
