Sorry I haven't updated in so long, I lost my inspiration to write and my mental health decreased a lot from the start of quarantine to now.

Going to the rink the next day, I knew that Yuri was not going to have the same energy that he did yesterday. I think that the nerves of being the one to beat are finally getting to him. As I was running late and only arrived before the warm up, I was worried over how Victor was behaving himself with Yuri

.Walking up to him and Victor, I saw that I was correct and could see that Yuri looked over tired and Victor was scolding him. When I reached them I heard the last of Victors rant.

"That's an order from your coach, Yuri."

Standing next to them I leaned on the wall, ''Bit dramatic Victor, and Yuri take this from your better coach, if you do your jumps during practice. Which I assume Victor is talking about. Then you will get tired easily on the ice during your performance."

"BETTER COACH!!!!!  Hadrian thats so mean!" whined Victor.

During the practice both Victor and I watched Yuri on the ice. Watching Yuri both of us could tell that he was more nervous than usual. The audience could tell that he was different as well. After the practice other skaters went up and did their performances. While I should have paid attention,  I was more worried over Yuri and how he would perform.

Suddenly Victor ran over to Yuri and covered his ears. Listening to the announcement made me realize why. The announcer was talking about how Phichit Chulanont could win this Cup, then he would go onto the Grand Prix.

Tuning back into what Victor was saying to Yuri. I heard that he would take responsibility of resigning as his coach if he missed the podium. Looking at Yuri with my eyes widening, I saw that Yuri was crying.

"Why would you say something like that, like your testing me?" cried Yuri.

Smacking my brother across the head I go over and hug Yuri. Turning back towards Victor I glared at him, for him to fix what he did and to make Yuri stop crying.

"I'm not good with people crying in front of me. I don't know what I should do. Should I kiss you or something?" said Victor.

Hearing him say that made my mouth fall open, god is he stupid, you don't kiss someone to make them stop crying.

"No!" Yuri yelled, "Just have more faith than I do that I'll win! You don't have to say anything. Just stand by me!"

Hugging Yuri again, "No matter what that fool of a brother says I believe that you will win this cup and then the Grand Prix. Now lets go fix you up and get you on that ice."

Walking towards the ice rink the skater on the ice was finishing his performance. Looking at the skater I feel like I should know him, but I can't put a name to the face. Taking Yuri's things I walk away to put them down, while Victor takes his turn in giving him a motivational talk.

"I swear to god Victor if he cries because of you, your ass is getting whooped." I muttered.

Hearing my phone ring I put my bag down and pull it out. Seeing the caller was Lucas I smiled and answered the call.

"Hello, darling."

"BABE, I MISS YOUUUUUUUU!"

Pulling my phone away from my ear for a second I put back on my ear.

"I can tell, don't worry I'll see you in Russia at the Grand Prix." I said chuckling.

"But that so long from now."

"Are you pouting?"

"........No."

"Well darling, Yuri is about to perform, so I'll call you back later and we can facetime."

"Really?"

"Yes darling, goodbye." I said.

"..Bye."

Smiling I could tell that he wasn't happy that he couldn't see me. Picking up my bag I walk back to Victor after making sure that all the things Yuri won't need are put away.

Standing next to Victor I watch as Yuri completes his entire performance without a mistake. Turning to Victor I saw the face of a man in love. And I should know what that looks like, because Lucas and I always look like that when we are together. Suddenly Victor opens the gate of the ice rink and jumps. Trying to catch him, I miss by an inch and face where he jumped. Only to see both him and Yuri on the ice kissing.

Standing up straight I start to laugh, of course it would be my brother to have to make their first kiss as public and most watched first kiss ever. Walking onto the ice, I pull them back up laughing and pull them to the kiss and cry. Watching the scoreboard I see that Yuri won the silver metal. At the interviews Victor did most of the talking while I congratulated Yuri.

Now we get to go to Russia.
