Sitting in the grocery store parking lot, we look at each other with a look of an odd satisfaction, feeling almost dead alone, yet so alive together. As we lean against the light pole, our faces are illuminated by the dim yet bright yellow light that shines from it. As our faces get close, the world starts brighten, to the point I know already the biggest sadness will always be pulling away. Then finally; we kiss, it's almost the one and only thing I long for. As we kiss the world stops, along with every noise, and every sound, every smell, and all of everything, just stops, till all I know and feel is the coffee we enjoyed earlier together, lingering on her lips, and the taste of her love, mixing with mine. Making everything worth it; whether it be the sacrifice of no home to come back to, the parents and family who hate us, the unavailability of anyone close, or the hustles and time we're forced to take out of our lives to work for the money that keeps us here: It's worth it. Even if we only get a few hours of nighttime together, it's beyond worth everything, everything...
As our lips relese, the souls between our hands stay intertwined, never wanting to be released. And us, not wanting to be anywhere but here, right now, and together. Even if we both know with as of now everything sucks, as long as we're together, we will make it. Whether it be a wedding or a home or even kids; we will survive and make it all together. Then finally, as we look into each other's eyes, we say our last words to each other before heading back to Himari's place.
Me-I love you, Hazel.
Hazel-I love you more, Yuri.
Me-I love the most, Hazel Tamahasai.
Hazel-Whatever, Yuri Sankai.
