Daniel's parents and my parents are best friends. However, we are not. We are very close when our parents are around but not so friendly when our parents aren't around. I tried to be friends with Daniel but he just doesn't seem like he wants to be friends with me. So I gave up and I treated him how he treats me.

Daniel's POV

Charlotte's cool I guess but she can be mean but I really shouldn't be talking because I treated her badly before she even started anything. she actually wanted to be friends with me but I didn't because shes not really popular in my school and I am I don't want to be seen in public with her I guess. but I'm nice to her outside of school so it's ok. I think

Today is the first day of summer. I'm really excited because I get to hang with charlotte a lot more. Truth is I actually really like her and I want to call her mine but after everything I've done to her, she probably hates me. I don't even know why I like her I shouldn't because I have a girlfriend she loves me and I love her.

Charlotte's POV

I don't know why I like daniel I really shouldn't after everything he did to me. He really did bad things. And that's the truth even if daniel wants to admit it or not

C's Mom: sweetie your father and I are going out for errands. you can stay home but you can't invite anyone or you could go to the Seavey's

C: k mom thanks.

I heard the door shut. I didn't know what to do but I think I'm going to go to the Seavey's because Anna, Tyler, Chris( I call him Chris for short) and I are very close and I can hang out with them I don't understand why daniel doesn't like me. I called aunt Keri, I call her aunt because she really is. if that makes sense.

Keri, Tyler, Chris, and Anna are going to be gone apparently but I'm still going to go because I need to become closer to Daniel. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but I guess I forgive Daniel. Wait no not fully but I'm going to try. Right then I got a call from Mia. Mia is my best friend I wasn't as popular in school and I got picked on because daniel's parent and mine are so close. And Daniel is really popular. they say I'm using daniel to become popular, but Mia didn't she was always there for me she is my only friend in school and I'm so grateful for her. She just called and asked if I was doing anything I told her I was going to daniel's house. she used to ship us since third grade when I needed the green marker and nobody would give it to me. but Daniel did. he was so nice but I don't know what happened mia interrupted my thinking with her telling me she had to go.

Daniel's POV

D's mom: HONEY! Charlotte is coming over in 5.

Daniel: WHY! Anna isn't going to be home.

D's mom: I don't know maybe because she wanted to hang out with you. *sarcasm if you didn't get it lol*

I groaned and it was probably really loud because my mom told me to not be rude. I mean I guess I can become closer with charlotte.

I have a key to their house because that's how close we are and I just walked their house into daniel's room. And I saw...
