The One Crazy Day

Caleb was babysitting us younger kids, and the neighbor's didn't really like us. Then they decided let's call CPS, so that all happens. CPS gets called and they eventually show up, telling us they got a call saying that Caleb was doing things to me.

My little mind agreed with the CPS people, and that caused my brother to be taken away from us. He went to go live with his best friend. We still got to see him it was just hard and not as much.

Now I was young and didn't think much of it, so I just kept messing around playing with my two other brothers. We still had fun even though things weren't the exact same.

We still played our stupid games that we made up. And we would be crazy and have fun. Caleb on the other hand was having fun with his friend jumping from high places into a pool and doing stupid stuff like that.

Back at our house things were good, but they kind of were weird and different. My oldest brother wasn't really around to keep me safe so Nate had to do that. Although soon after Nate started getting older he would fight with my mom.

He would not hit her but they would yell back and forth alot. He had to be held down by two guys at one point, I don't remember why exactly, but it wasn't fun to watch.

My sister, Joy, she was always the one to lock herself in her room, or I should say our room, but she never let me in. She would also fight with my mom yelling at her about things.

One time I was sitting in the dining room, and my mom and sister were in the kitchen. I sat there watching my sister push my mom around like a rag doll, as they yelled back and forth. I cried, I didn't know what to do, seeing that is not fun, it isn't something you want to watch.

My oldest brother, Caleb, he would yell back and forth with my mom too, but he wasn't as bad, because he wasn't around as much.

Now just because of all this fighting it didn't mean that I never had fun with my brothers because we had a lot of fun. Just it wasn't as much anymore, we all just kind of went our separate ways.
