Forth POV

I feel so stupid as soon as I end the phone call with Beam. Why can't I think that maybe he still sleeps or he still enjoying his breakfast and will call me later?!

Why should I think that maybe he is falling in the bathroom with an open wound and his blood is coming out from his head?

Or

Someone tries to rob my house. But when they see him, they feel aroused and decided to kidnap him instead of taking my belongings. But this is really impossible to happen because of the high-security technology at my house.

Or

He is mad with me because I lifted him up last night and decided to terminate his contract then leave me alone. But this is also impossible as he is not that kind of person.

Or

Damn!! I worried too much and make my mind run wild. I don't know what will happen to me if all those possibilities really do come true.

Geez! I better stop this. I really don't want to think about that right now or ever again. I will make me crazy than I already have.

"Uhmm...Are you okay Sir?" My secretary, Max, said as soon as he enters my office and makes me get out of my mind.

"Why?" I confused.

"You keep walking back and forth?" He said in confusion.

I don't know how long he standing there or even how long I've been doing this. But I know this is not like me at all and that's why my secretary reacted that way.

Then I just chuckle in realization. I don't know what kind of spell that Beam did to me, that can make me like this, worried too much about another person other than my business or even myself.

"I'm fine." I laugh.

"Uhm...I... don't think so, Sir. Do you want me to call your private doctor to come here now?" He said in concern

"Are you joking or are being serious now, Max?" I said unamused.

"Both (?)."

I just don't know what to do right now as I'm annoyed by him now. Sometimes I thought about why I had him as my secretary for such a long time.

Ah right! because he is the one and only secretary that can tolerate my temper. But I kind of hate him when he is like this.

"You should be grateful that you do a great job this whole time or else I already fired you now." I annoyed.

"Thank you, Sir and I think you are fine now." He smiles while I just looked at him unamused.

"Why are you being here?"

"I want to show you about the proposal for the new shopping center in the Yama District."

"Shopping center in Yama District? Isn't it supposed to be a hotel resort and tourist attraction site?"

"Yes, Sir. But our investor wants to change it do to cost efficiency. They said the cost of making a hotel resort and tourist attraction will cost us 3 times than to make a shopping center." Max explains and I just can exhale.

Damn, this old man!

The old man that I refer to is my own father or maybe you more familiar with Darvid Inc's owner. On a few occasion sometimes I will be partnered with him because of my company's lack of funding. But I hate it when he suddenly changes my plan. It's not like that the project that I do will fail. It's always returned in investment maximum in 2 years.
