little age: 9 your little helper in the kitchen. he'll want to help crack the eggs, pour cups of water, sprinkle seasoning, put the timer on, you name it. but don't have him slice vegetables or anything because his hands are extra flimsy in little space and we don't want our baby to get cut. also, if you think he's gonna stop his silly dad jokes, boy are you wrong. "ugh, I'm tired." "hi, tired. I'm good boy!"
playtime he loves playing video games, especially with you. so go head to head with him on mario kart or wii sports. no violent or scary games because they'll make him upset. "I don't wanna hurt him, he seems nice." or you could play dress up, him as the princess and you as the knight. he might take forever to get his tiara just right and to find his disney princess charm bracelet that he must wear, but it eventually becomes a cute role reversal.
punishment since his love for food is endless, if you deny him any sweets, 8 times out of 10 he'll throw a fit. "but mama, I want a cupcake!" he'll pout his lips and cross his arms and sometimes even stomp his feet if he's feeling sassy enough. "jinnie, if you keep acting like that I'm going to take way your console." any threat to banish his games usually does the trick and he'll just drag himself to his room to write an angry letter to obama asking if he can adopt him. no punishment needed!
