Laura P.O.V
Edward and I sat in his secret spot for our date. I read a book that I had to finish for my English literature class. I tried to focus on all of the words, but Edward kept kissing my neck making me sigh silently. I tried to focus more when he nipped on my neck gently causing a shiver to run down my spine.
"You know, I have to finish this thing to pass my English in order to graduate." I told him which caused me to turn my head to him. His lips went into mine as his cold yet gentle kiss made me feel relaxed. I pulled away taking a deep breath placing my forehead against his.
"Marry me." He randomly said causing me to open my eyes and looked at his. I shook my head smiling thinking it was a joke when he asked me again.
"Marry me." He tells me softly with a serious tone as I move my head away and look at the other direction.
"I can't." I sighed softly as I felt his hand placed under my chin and move to make me look at him. His thump brush across my lips causing me to close my eyes from the contact as I felt slight spark.
"Why?" He asked.
"It means that I will be changed and...I won't grow old. I would see Charlie grow old and wrinkly then die while I still live." I told him with reason, but he shakes his head and pulled me down as he laid down on the grass and kissed me again. I moaned on our kiss before he pulls back and look at me between the eyes.
"I won't change you. Unless it's necessary, but I swear that I won't. Marry me." He looks at me with hope as I kissed him softly on his head while his hand is still placed on my cheek.
"I have to go. It's 3:56 and I need to be there at 4:00." I sat up straight packing my things as Edward sigh next to me before standing up.
"Alright, I'll drop you off." He tells me and I smiled up at him as a thank you. He held his hand out which I took as he helped me up and kissed me again and held me close. He pulled back grinning like crazy as I rolled my eyes and slap his chest.
He carries me bridal style as he used his speed and ran home. We arrived at my house about 3:58. I gave Edward a quick peck before walking up the porch and entering the house giving him a wave goodbye. I walk towards the living room to see Charlie reading a newspaper with his uniform on.
"Hey." I greeted as I walk behind him and kissed his cheek.
"4:00 sharp. I'm guessing your still with pale face?" He asked as I rolled my eyes and dropping my bag to the side and sitting down.
"He has a name dad and besides he helped me with my work." I lied as he dropped his newspaper down and leaned back from the couch.
"You know why I grounded you right?" He turns his head to look at me as I scratch the back of my head thinking.
"I put you through hell and scared that I might have get into a car crash just like Bella." I said looking at him as he nods his head slowly as slight pain written all over his face. If I have a power which I do, but a power to revive someone, it would be Bella just so I could see Charlie smiling again.
