Violet
My favourite place in Pineview is the old bridge. The ancient, abandoned cobbles call my name. The privacy and silence draws me in. It gives me time to think and have some time away from hectic family life. Being a vampire isn't as fun as it seems, drama after drama. I mean, I love drama but hearing the same bullshit argument every single night is soooo draining. The screaming matches are either about who is going hunting that night or who is going to get us exposed to the humans. Another thing I love about Pineview is the doom and gloom. We NEVER get any sunshine. It makes me happy because I love this town and if it was sunny all the time I couldn't live here. That's another downside of being a vampire, sunlight would expose us all. Vampires are unique because we have our own personal powers. I can see into the future perfectly, my brother Emmett can read peoples minds, Olympia can manipulate people into whatever, Isaac can communicate with the dead, my dad Caspian can biologically manipulate someone and my mom Victoria can read the history of an object just by touching it. We can all also run really fast which is pretty cool too. Sat on the edge of the old bridge is relaxing. The rushing river beneath is enough to send me asleep. I shut my eyes and use my own power. I wonder what is about to soon happen. In my vision I see a girl. She's in a car with a man, I assume her father, her head on the window. She looks upset about something. The vision ends and I am confused as hell. My visions are usually more detailed, but this one just showed a girl. Maybe she's a great cousin or something. Oh well, I'll soon find out.

"You're gunna love Pineview!" said my Dad, Fred. "It's a beautiful little town, perfect for us two. You just gotta think positive Mi. We will have a nice fresh start and you never know you might make friends" he calmly spoke.
"I hope so" I huffed as I rest my head on the car window. I have to leave my old town Knightville due to my Dad getting a new teaching job at the prestigious Pineview High School. It's full of rich kids therefore my dad thinks I will actually find friends there. Which I know is highly unlikely because I'm 17 I know how high school works. Everyone judges everyone. As the rain falls against the car,I find myself drifting off asleep...
"Wake up honey, we're here" my dad taps me. My eyes open to this little house. It's actually a cute house, a lot nicer than my old one to be honest.
"What do you think?" My dad asks with enthusiasm.
"It's cute" I giggle.
Entering the house I feel nervous. The rooms are empty and dusty. I walk upstairs and turn to a room on my left. It's small but not too small. It seems about right for me. The walls are a moon grey which I adore. There was a perfect corner for my bed to fit in, a great place for my wardrobe to go and my desk. I knew immediately this room was for me. The large window on the left side of my room gives a great view of my new street. The street is private and quiet. It's more peaceful outside than in my house. The moving men placing down our furniture was extremely noisy.
"I see you've found your room, the guys are bringing up your furniture. Tell them where you want it" he said whilst leaving the room.
They come up with my head and all my other boxes filled with clothes etc.
Few hours later
My room looks good, for now. I've only just gotten here it will do. I go down stairs and see my father sat on the couch.
"Come here" he stretches his arm out for me to come sit with him. He puts his arm around me and says "we're going to be just fine pal. I know it will be different without Mom but we have each other and that's all that matters." he hugs me. My dad is the strongest person I know. I'm so glad I have him.
"I love you Dad" I say sweetly
"I love you too pal. Lets go out for dinner tonight. My treat. Go get ready" he says happily.
I run upstairs ready to look decent at least. Right now I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards. To shower or not to shower is the question.
"Dad can I get a shower?" I shout
"Yeh sure the towels are in the green box in my room" he shouts back.
I grab my towel from the box and head to the bathroom. I'm not sure how this shower works, I'll just hit loads of buttons and pray for the best. After hitting many buttons I finally get some hot water. As I go to step in I remember, soap. I grab my towel and wrap it round me. I head into my room and look for my shower gel. As I walk past my window I see a boy with brown hair. I duck quickly as I'm only in a towel and peek through the corner of my window. He's gone. He got away quickly. I grab my shower gel and head back into the bathroom. Getting in the shower I am greeted and refreshed by warm water.
Moments later
I get back into my room and shut my curtains. I shove on my black jeans a cream jumper and my black heeled boots. It's pretty cold outside so I wear my tan scarf. I brush my long brown hair and apply a tad bit of mascara.
"You ready?" dad asks
"Lets go" I say.
