abandonment. Depressed Peter Parker

Peter walked back 'home' after a particularly hard day at school, it had been two weeks since aunt May had been hit, killed on impact is what they say. it was only now setting in that peter had no one else there for his, they had all left him. 

'you drove them away' 

a voice in his head whispered, he felt tears welling up in his eyes as he realised the voice was right, his parents would be alive if it weren't for him, aunt May and uncle Ben would be alive if he just wasn't around 

'you killed them'

the voice said, it was at that moment Peter knew he had to die to end this cycle.

'you don't have the balls to off yourself' 

the voice said once more "just watch me" Peter muttered to himself

Peter was startled by a voice coming from in front of him his head shot up to look at who was calling for him his eyes landed on a woman with shoulder length ginger hair.

"Peter? is that you?" she called once more

"huh,, oh um yeah hi Ms. Natasha, haven't seen you in awhile how have you been?" he said quickly

"i've been good, how about you? how's your aunt?" she said with a small but polite smile.

Peter froze, his breath got caught up in his lungs tears wetting his cheeks. "Peter?" Natasha looked at him with concern filling her eyes, Peter took a shaky breath "M-may died two weeks ago" he said sheepishly, Natasha gasped "oh i'm so sorry dear i didn't know" 

'look at you, now an avenger is pitying you, you know she have so many better things to be focused on'

"its okay" his words being barely over a whisper "if you don't mind me asking where are you staying?" she asked "an orphanage" he said glancing up to look her in the eyes, "i've gotta run, but if you need anything just call me, see you soon" she said while writing something on a sticky note and handing it to him, a number "oh okay bye," he said while she quickly walked off.

he stood there confused before continuing his walk back.
