Zane and Nana

The sad Bonfire.

After Zane and Nana got away they went home to prepare for the bonfire. Zane stood in the doorway waiting for Nana to appear at the top of the stairs, when Katlyn walked in behind Zane.
"Hey Zane where's Kawaii~Chan?" Katlyn asked.
"Hi Katlyn, she's still getting ready, Kawaii~Chan are you alright up there?" Zane said.
"Coming Zuzu!" Nana said as she came around the corner and noticed Katlyn standing there and a red faced Zane.
"Ah oopsies." Nana said.
"Oh Irene." Zane said as he covered his face.
"Oh my Irene I can't believe I'm saying this but that is extremely cute and I know I covered for you the other day but you only get one pal Zianna is so gonna hear about this." Katlyn said as she ran out the door. Zane just fell to his knees and dramatically pretended to try and stop Katlyn.
Nana came down the stairs and held Zane in her arms.
"Awe I'm sorry it's gonna be ok my Zuzu." Nana said brushing her hand through his hair and giggling.
"Well I can't lie I don't mind it if you say it." Zane said receiving and kiss on the head from Nana.
"C'mon let's go Zuzu." Nana said getting off the ground and attempted to drag him.
"Ugh fine I'm getting up I'm getting up." Zane said as he got up and took her hand.
The group lived in a small sub division in a small town outside Falcon Claw, in the center of their secluded roundabout was a fire pit where everyone was gathering around.
Everyone was grabbing chairs and Nana noticed there weren't that many. Nana turned to whisper in Zane's ear. Zianna, Sylvanna, and Melissa were fan girling and Katlyn was watching were Zane's hands were noticing he had an arm low around her waist while she was whispering in his ear.
"Zane there's not enough chairs I was j-just w-wondering if maybe I could sit in your lap?" Nana whispered.
"W-what I don't know about that with them here." Zane said motioning to Zianna and Melissa.
"Don't worry if they try I'll protect you and stop them, pleeeeasse for me Zuzu?" Nana said.
"Fiiiiine." Zane sighed as he sat down and patted his lap before holding his arms out. Nana planted herself with her legs sideways on his lap and put her head on his chest.
Zane after wrapping an arm over Nana remembered they had an audience and froze.
"Ohhhhhhh I can't hold back Zuzu!" Zianna said as she yet again basically started flying.
"Zianna no." Sylvanna yelled trying to stop Melissa and Zianna.
Nana put a hand out.
"Stop, no explosions tonight I promised him." Nana said making the two freeze.
"But." They both said.
"Trust me I know it's hard to hold back but I said I'd protect him and I will." Nana said.
The two hung their heads and floated back to their seats.
"Th-thanks Na-K-Kawaii~Chan." Zane said.
"Anything for Zuzu..." Nana said.
"W-w-w-what have you d-d-done." Zane said frozen.
"SH-SH-SHE C-C-CALLED HIM ZUZUUUUUUU!" Zianna said going super saiyan.
"Mummy er calm down." Garroth said.
"Garroth I've never seen her like this before, Garroth get away from her!" Zane yelled.
"No baby brother I'll hold her you go till she settles!" Garroth yelled.
"Thanks Garroth I'll never forget you." Zane said as he set Nana in their chair and began running.
"Well this is already going spectacularly." Lucinda said. 
When Zianna settled and was safely strapped to her chair Nana got back in Zane's lap.
"So I guess the only reason we called everyone out here was to have fun and take our minds off of things but that seems like not much use so how is everyone doing?" Sylvanna said.
"Honestly the only thing still bothering me is what I did and what I could have done to people I care about while under mind control I can't imagine how hard it must be to look at me baby brother." Garroth cried.
"Garroth it's as you said you were under the control on h-him we don't blame you for what happened, you were a vessel to a mad demons destruction you shouldn't blame yourself either you too Katlyn." Zane said.
"Th-thank you baby brother." The crying Garroth ran over and sandwiched Nana between him and Zane in a a hug.
"Ah Garroth." They both said making everyone laugh.
"The only real thing we have to worry about is Aaron and his memory hopefully when Aph and Travis return we can see if Aph can restore his memory." Melissa said.
"How's he holding up?" Nana asked.
"He's still physically damaged but recovering, we just need to work on his mind." Melissa said.
"I've been working on some thing that might help, hopefully." Lucinda said.
The rest of the time by the fire was spent on healing from the still recent catastrophe.
