"I wont."

Later that day, Jimin walked home and flopped onto his bed. He felt horrible. All of the things he did to 'protect' his friend backfired on him instead. Sure, he was being a little bit selfish, but he did it for a reason. Him and Tae don't exactly have the best history together, and that's exactly why he wanted to stop their relationship as soon as it started.

He picked up his phone and stared at his blank wallpaper. "i don't want to be alone anymore.." He whined. He rolled over and opened up his unread messages. As he was answering some he heard the doorbell ring. Putting away his phone, he walked towards the front door, opening it as he arrived. He was shocked at who he saw.

"Hey Jimin. Joon told me about what you said.... I just want to come and talk for a bit." Jin smiled as he stood outside. Jimin frowned but nodded either way and let him in.

The two sat on the living room couch after Jimin made them some drinks. Jin took a sip of his water and began talking. "So.. from what I heard, you apologized. Guess things just didn't go how you thought?" Jimin nodded his head slightly. "Although you apologized, that doesn't justify what you did. But don't feel too bad, Joon is just one of those hard to please people you know?" No response. Jin frowned. "I just want to know why you did it. Is that okay?"

Jimin let out a sigh. He sat up straighter and looked over to the older. "You know how i feel about Tae. You know about what he did." Jin nodded slowly and was a little reluctant to continue. "I know it's not the same situation, but I didn't want anything to happen to Jungkook. I felt that he was such a sweet and small person, and someone like Tae could take advantage of him even if he doesn't mean it."

"I understand. But couldn't you have talked about this to Tae or Kook? I feel like you kind of dug yourself into a hole by doing all of this you know." Jin responded. Jimin frowned.

"I know. But i didn't know what to do. I tried to warn Jungkook, but I think i was a bit too harsh. I should have taken it slowly and maybe even talked to Tae about being aware of himself. I was scared when I heard that he hit Kookie and that he was taking advantage. I panicked and got a little too cocky. I regret everything."

"Do you only regret it because you were the one who lost in the end?"

Jimin stayed silent. "N-no... I just feel bad for trying to ruin something that is going so well i guess. It didn't go as I thought it would. That's all." Jin nodded and didn't respond. "Well, thanks for coming over i guess. We really don't need to talk about this anymore. I don't really care if you guys accept my apology or not by now. I know what I did was really bad." He got up and excused himself to go to the bathroom.

Jin watched him leave and sighed as he walked through the door. He looked around the now empty room. After a moment of silence, he heard a phone notification and looked over to see Jimin's abandoned phone. He tried to ignore it but couldn't, as it kept ringing. He turned it over to see several text notifications filling the screen. "Little.. Fox...?" He read. Wonder who that is?
