I woke up bright and early at 7.45 AM. Damon was beside me, still fast asleep. I decided to leave him be for a while, until I got ready. My appointment wasn't until 9AM, but I like to be early. I got dressed and today I decided to wear my blue floral tank top as it was nice weather, along with my blue jeans and black sneakers. I tied my hair up into a messy bun and I progressed to brush my teeth and wash my face. I applied the tiniest bit of makeup, and I was ready. I decided to wake up Damon first, and then the kids, as Bonnie agreed to look after them today while me and Damon were away.

"Damon." I whispered to him, giving him a slight shake.

"Hmm? Oh, good morning baby. Don't worry, I'm just getting up. You look beautiful today."

"Thank you handsome. I'm going to wake up the kids, because Bonnie is coming over to look after them while we're gone."

I walked into Miranda and Juliet's room and woke them both up gently.

"Miranda, Juliet, time to wake up now." I soothed, drawing their blinds back slowly.

"Momma! I wasn't finished sleeping!" Miranda complained.

"I know, but Auntie Bonnie is coming over to see you two today. I bet you're looking forward to that."

"Yay, Auntie Bonnie!" Juliet smiled.

"Well, you guys better get up and get ready quickly because she'll be here soon." I said to them.

I chose out their clothes for them; Miranda a T-shirt with a unicorn on it and a white stripy skirt; and Juliet a sweater with flowers on it and some black jeans.

There was a knock at the door, and I was expecting it to be Bonnie. I answered the door, and it was Bonnie.

"Hey Elena! How are you?" she asked me, greeting me with a hug.

"I'm great thanks, Bonnie. How are you?"

"Same old, but I'm good. I bet you must be excited about today!"

"Yeah, but I'm a little nervous. Come on in, Miranda and Juliet will be happy to see you. Damon, Bonnie's here!"

Damon walked through to the lounge, carrying the girls in his arms.

"Hey Bonnie, how are things?" he asked her.

"Same old stuff. Hi, girls!" she reached out to give Miranda and Juliet a hug.

"Hi Auntie Bonnie!" they both smiled.

"Thanks so much for offering to take care of them. Honestly, you don't know how much it means to us." Damon thanked her.

"It's not a problem. Anything for you two. I'll make sure they're good when you guys are away."

"Thank you Bonnie. Bye Miranda, bye Juliet! Momma and Daddy will be back soon." I said, giving them both a kiss on the head.

We waved them goodbye, and we headed to the clinic. It was a fifteen minute walk, as we didn't have a car, but it was fun as I got to talk to Damon. I was nervous as hell.

"Are you nervous?" Damon asked me, as if he'd read my mind.

"Yep. I mean, I'd love to have another girl, and I'd also love to have another boy. I love my children to pieces, I just don't know why I'm so nervous."

"You're just nervous and excited at the same time, baby. Don't worry, I'll be there holding your hand the whole time. I love you."

"I love you too, Damon. I'm so glad I married you. You've changed me as a person, in a good way. You've been an amazing dad to our kids and you've also been an amazing husband."
