He was at it again.

Swapfell had yet again stolen something of yours and put it on the top of the fridge, hopelessly out of your reach. You were aggravated, yes, but in despair at how high up it was. You didn't want to ask anyone in the gang to help you; you were too shy for that. Even thinking about asking made your heartbeat speed up dramatically and your insides shake with nervousness; no. That was out of the question. You just had to take matters into your own hands.

Grabbing a chair from the dining room table, you set it down in front of the fridge, getting on top of it in an effort to reach your stolen object. Alas, it was no use; it stayed just out of your reach. You huffed, feeling annoyed as you stared around for what else you could find to give you more height. Your eyes locked upon two cookbooks that Swap had resting on the counter. Bingo.

Grabbing the two cookbooks, you set them on the chair, now standing on top of the cookbooks resting on the chair. That seemed to do the trick, as your hands rested upon the item you were searching for. Feeling satisfied, you grabbed it, starting to pull it down before you heard the all too familiar sound of someone entering the kitchen. Both of you abruptly stopped in your places.

Peeking from out behind your arm, you saw that it was a surprised Fell who was staring back at you. Oh, shoot. You felt your heart immediately began to race as you panicked, jumping a bit at the sight of him. In doing so, you unfortunately slipped off the books beneath your feet, sending you falling backwards and hitting the cold kitchen floor.

You groaned in pain, your limbs now aching as you sat up to rub them. But hey! You still had your item in your hands! That was something, right? Though, your small feelings of victory were cut short as you remembered that Fell was standing in the room.

Your face immediately lit up, and you began to feel a bit skittish and scared, but mostly embarrassed. Embarrassed that he saw you standing on two cookbooks and a chair; embarrassed that he watched you unceremoniously fall off of them. You turned your head up, your gaze meeting with Fell's almost immediately. He looked absolutely stunned now, a step up from looking surprised at your little pedestal you had created for yourself. You let out a small squeak and covered your face in your hands, wanting nothing more than to curl up in a ball and hide.

"Hey, you okay..?" Fell asked, a bit uncertain, unsure if you wanted him to help or to leave. You peeked out a bit from your hands; Fell was slowly making his way towards you, almost like confronting a wild animal. He didn't want to alarm you anymore. However, ever since you've fallen in the void, you've always been like this; shy, skittish, scared, rarely liked to talk. I mean, you've only ever really liked to talk to Stars and B; they were just so calm, and they respected you! Swap, on the other hand, was a bit too loud for you; enough for you to jump about three feet when you'd hear his voice. WingDings, on the other hand, was much too scary with his stoic nature; he drove you away quickly. And lastly, Fell; Fell had the largest temper out of all of them, and from what you've seen, could be quite mean. But that's not to say he didn't have a nice side..! He protects all of the gang, including you, and does have empathy; as much as he didn't like to show it. It's just, you didn't want to run the risk of him being mean to you if you talked it him; you didn't think you could handle it. And yet, here he was, being somewhat gentle with you. It confused you greatly, but you appreciated it. It's just, you didn't want him to get too close to you.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine- Ouch!" You winced at the stinging pain coming from your right arm, the arm you had fallen on. It burned, and you were almost certain that there was more than a bruise going on. You curled up slightly on the ground, cradling your injured arm. Fell's bonebrows furrowed; he didn't buy what you were saying at all. Unexpectedly, Fell then proceeded to bend down on one knee and tried to pick you up; frightened, you let out a little squeal as you moved backwards and hit the kitchen counter behind you.
