Soul was having the worst day of his life. Today at Shibusen, he failed 2 tests, his computer broke down, and he is supposed to attend remedial lessons. He knew he needed something to cheer him up after the day he was having, so he went to Death City's newest maid cafes for a coffee. As he stepped inside, he was greeted at least 5 different maids, he could recognize 3 of them, Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki. He sat down as Tsubaki handed him a menu, "Hi Soul!" she said in her same warm demeanor. Soul made his order and clearly stated; "I'll just have a coffee with 3 sugars and 2 creams.". "Right away master." said Tsubaki as she bolted off into the kitchen. Shortly after, Tsubaki walked out with Soul's coffee. "Here is your coffee, enjoy!" Tsubaki then walked out of sight. As he sipped his coffee, he looked around the cafe trying to find more familiar faces, as the cafe seemed to be popular with Shibusen students. in the distance he could see Liz and Patty taking Ox's order, he also spotted Kim and Jaqueline but one specific maid made his jaw drop. there, taking someone's order, he could see Maka, she was even wearing the cute maid outfit, she looked beautiful, he paid his bill, giving a generous tip to Tsubaki, and approached Maka. Soul tapped her back, Maka turned around began to shout at him "Soul?! What the hell are you doing here you pervert!!" she slapped Soul across the face and asked him to keep her job a secret. Soul asked why "Why are you working here anyway? I thought Shibusen gave you a $200 weekly allowance like everyone else. You don't even have tits!!" Maka scowled, then it happened MAKA CHOP! Later that day, Maka came home from work and Soul was cooking dinner. Soul waved her hi, and she flushed a deep red. "You looked pretty cute in that maid outfit." Soul teased, Maka turned an even deeper crimson "Whatever, just tell me when dinner is ready". Later that night, after dinner, Soul got ready for bed. As he entered the room Maka pounced Soul and began straddling him. She looked down, "There's been something I've been meaning to tell you...." Soul's face turned a deep shade of red, predicting what she was about to say. Maka hesitated, still clinging to the worst possible outcome, until she said very quietly; "I love you.". Soul gave her a smile, the kind of smile only she could coax Soul to give, "I've been waiting for you to say it for 2 years now, I love you too.". Maka gave a subtle smile and their lips met, Soul could taste a hint of strawberry on Maka's lips as he savored his first kiss, he was glad it was with Maka. Maka asked Soul one last question "Can I sleep in your bed tonight?" Soul turned a deep red then gave his response, "Sure thing." He held his meister in his arms as they drifted off into sleep.
