Chapter One
I walked at fast as I could,facing the hard rain patting on the ends of my thick hair,along down to my nose and going in on my clothes. The rain was so hard you could hear every drop hitting the hard concrete floor. What am I doing? I sigh as I hear it getting stronger,clutching my hood,the rain making it stick to my head anyway. I arrive at my door and struggle to find my key in my bag,with my damp hands. I reach for the lock when my house key drops. "Shit" I curse under my breath,reaching down and stumbling what's left of my damp self in the house. I sigh and drop my bags on the table,shutting the blinds hanging on the windows, looking through them, shivering at the cold. My phone buzzed,it was my best friend-Felix.
Hey Felix
Hey,did you hear the rain? Crazy!..
I could hear him tut on the other line.
Yeah,funny story actually..
Yeah..
I just got caught in it..
Owch.. Hey I just got a new movie if you want some company and some food?..
Yes,come round dear motive. What film?
You like The Hunger Games right?
I laughed. Course I did.
Duh..
Well I have THE STARVING GAMES!
He chuckled.
Okay Felix,you come round. I'll see you later.

I huffed heavily as I started to set things up,I tidied up the living room and set up some junk film and put the DVD player on anyway. I settled down. A flash came from outside and scurried through the cracks of the blinds,frightening me a little. The door opening,standing in the doorway,a soaking wet Felix stood there,he was wearing a leather jacket,carrying a full 5p Asda bag,and The Starving Games DVD in his hand. He dropped the bag and DVD on the glass table,he smiled at me,taking his leather jacket off and hanging it on the door.
"A leather jacket isn't the best thing to wear in this weather." As he said this,an uncomfortably loud sound of thunder came down again,thudding of rain coming along side of it. Today is 29th of October. I'm so excited for Halloween,I thought. "Felix?" I asked,as he sat down next to me,turning on 'The Starving Games.' "Yeah?"
"What are you dressing up as for Halloween?" I asked,reaching for a bag of popcorn he brought with him from his house. He snorted,"You." He said,laughing - but also with no emotion. "Shut up." I said,punching him lightly on the arm. The film started,and we quieted down.
