chapter 2

        Once I reached the mall I started towards Hollister, my first stop. They always had cute clothes and I hoped to find at least a few things today as I was in need of new clothes. Okay when wasn't I in need of new clothes. I started through the store skimming the racks that were full of dresses, tops, and skirts. I browsed through shelves and when I had covered the store headed to the dressing room arms full. After trying everything on I decided on two outfits. One was a cute black top with matching shorts the other was an oversized sweatshirt and jeans then I headed to check out. The mall was busy today and ai had to wait about forever to get checked out but I eventually did and headed off to forever 21. I found the cutest dress, and there was only one left.... No worries though, it was my size! It fit me perfect I was so happy! I hurried to check out and bought it heading next door to Wet Seal. It was a peachish pink erika ruffle one shoulder dress and I adore it! I started through Wet Seal looking at the clothing options and casually picking up a few graphic tees and destressed jeans and shorts. I bought a pair of jeans, three pairs of shorts, three tees, and a few other pieces of clothing. Afterwards I stopped a few other places not buying much then checked the time. Shrugging I went to a built in panera and ate a sandwich and some soup then headed out.

        I went back home and threw my multiple bags in my room then settled down on the couch. I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV flipping through channels. I finally settled on Ender's Game which some channel decided to play today and started watching when I felt my phone vibrate.

I laughed and replied to her, when I said most my friends were gone at college I meant pretty much all except Jess and a few others. Jessica had been my best friend since pre-school. That is when we met, actually our first conversation was an arguement over a doll. By the end of the arguement we had pegged eachother as cool and vowed to be best friends. Pretty interesting how our friendship began isn't it? Soon enough there was a knock at the door and I opened it to a white-blonde haired blue eyed Jessica,''OMG Jess you actually dyed it!'' I screeched hugging her tightly. She had been debating to dye her hair from the brown to a light blonde forever. I am honestly surprised she went through with it,'' it looks great,''I squeled goin back to the real world. ''I know I love it!'' She squeled back as we seemed to fangirl over her hair. ''Know I need to see these fits,'' She said snaking around me and walking in as she owned the place. I laughed shrugging and we went to my room looking through the clothes in the multiple bags. ''They are adorable,''Jess squealed and what I bought,''I know right,'' I responded equally as happy with the shopping spree. ''I always knew you had good taste, never doubted ya,''she laughed. I started laughing to and soon enough we were having one ginormous laughing fit.

        ''Wow that killed,''I said trying to catch my breath. Jessica nodded as she did the same,''what do ya say to a movie and girls night,'' I asked catching Jess raise an eyebrow. ''Bring out the popcorn girl,''she sassed making us both laugh again. ''Sounds great Ky.'' Tonight was going to be fun.

After the movie we headed to my room, my mom had shown up as we started and hid in her room, my brother was at a friend's so all was good. I hadn't told you about Kori, Kor is well my twin. I like to refer to myself as an only child but I will forevermore have to share m life with and annoying brother, but I mean it is nice to be a twin. Sometimes, there are many negatives but besides that it is fine. I pulled out my underneath bed, yes I have one of those beds that have a pullout bed built in. and we settled into the bed as I pulled out my laptop. ''Youtube,'' Jess questioned me raising her right eyebrow up, I laughed and nodded throwing a pair of pajamas to change into at her as I grabbed a pair for myself. The screen loaded as we changed and then settled back in, we started watching videos. Soon enough we had switched over to music and were singing along. ''You really should upload a video of you singing,'' Jess said when I finished singing 'Fix You' by Coldplay. ''No I really shouldn't. I'm horrible!" I exclaimed laughing. ''Pwease,'' she made her infamous puppy dog face as she looked into my eyes. ''Fine,''I gasped rolling my eyes. She smiled and fished a camera of my electronics drawer. I sighed and pulled up a karaoke version of 'Fix You' and waited to start it, since I had the song memorized this would be easy. It was the song I was obsessed with when my father died. My dad was in a car crash a few years ago, I would cry myself asleep, we were so close. Then I remembered my dad's cd's and went through them when I found the disk with Fix You on it I played it over and over until I could sing the song by heart. I still have the song memorized.

Slowly Jess set up the tripod and set the camera on top then getting ready,''okay 3,2,1 go,'' and she started recording as I started the music.

I kept singing the words flowing continuously out of my mouth until the song ended. Then we hurried and made a youtube channel uploading the video. Jess tweeted about it then stole my phone and did the same. Friends of ours had checked it out and decided to advertise too and my eyes widened as people actually enjoyed it. ''What in the world is going on,'' I muttered, my voice wasn't amazing. ''Now to write a song,'' Jess said enjoying every moment. I dug out my guitar robotically as she grabbed a piece of paper, I am pretty sure Jess just became my manager.
