"Hi, I'm Harry."

Looking back at the boy, I smiled slightly and mouthed, "Leah." As soon as I said my name, he got the biggest grin across he face.

I'm not gonna lie, he was attractive. Chocolate-brown curls, bright green eyes, a beautiful smile. After a few seconds, he winked and turned back to listen to Mrs. Landis.

That's when he went to pull his hoodie off.

As soon as he slipped out, I almost chocked. He had at least 7 tattoos, and those were just the ones that his t-shirt didn't cover.

Forget attractive, he was hot. He turned to me after my sudden coughing fit, raising an eyebrow. Blushing, I put my head down.

As soon as the bell rang, I collected my things and headed out. When I reached the hallway, I felt a large warm hand being placed on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw no other than Harry. Oddly, he looked sorta nervous, something I never would've thought of him considering his confidence.

"Uh, hey Leah... I was just wondering if maybe you wanted to head out for lunch? If not- don't worry about it we could just uh- another day maybe...?" He ranted with his hand tugged on the back of his neck.

Smiling at his nervousness, I replied, "I would love too. Come by my locker at lunch, then we'll go."

A look of relief flashed across his features, and he nodded. Saying my goodbye, I headed off to my next 2 classes.

When I reached English, I once again found a seat in the way back of the class. I also scanned the room again, that's when I saw her.

Ember Todd. Aka, the biggest bitch in the whole school. I had never ever, not once, done anything wrong to her, yet she insists on being a rude, snobby person. But not just to me alone. I'm talking about everybody. She thinks that she is the definition of perfect just because her mother and father own this fancy resturaunt outside the city.

I'm usually the stay-quiet-mind-your-own-business-type-of-girl, but oh, how I wanted to set her straight. But of course 1 comment to her and her whole crew will be behind her within seconds giving me dirty looks. So of course, I just kept to myself.

-

Not wasting anytime after the bell rings, i book it out of the room and race to my locker, and shove all my books and folders into the bottom. As soon as I turn the lock, Harry comes behind me and puts his warm hand on my arm, grinning a "Hello." with is cute little dimples popping out.

"Hey Harry, are you ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's head out through the gym, my car is parked near the tennis court," he replied.

Nodding an okay, we head off. Walking through the crowded halls, he somehow got behind me. Thinking I lost him, I stopped and turned around to see a smiling Harry. I grinned, and turned to continue walking. I second later, I feel a warm hand on the small of m back, leading me through the hall. As he did this, I noticed the many girls standing with their friends looking Harry up and down, smirking, then looking back to their friends to whisper in their ears.

"Don't look at him," I thought to my self, until I stopped myself. What am I thinking? They have every right to look at him. I have no reason to be jealous, he probably doesn't even like me, he just wants a friend to show him around because he's new. Shaking off my thoughts, I continued to the gym doors, across the wood floors, and to the metal door that led to the parking lot.

Stepping infront of me, Harry reached out to push the door open, holding his hand out. "Ladies first."

With a giggle, I responded, "Why, thank you, Harry." And stepped out onto the warm cement. Right next to the doors was a dark red pick up truck. Waltzing over to the passenger door, he opened the door, and held his hand out for to help me into the tall truck. Blushing, I placed my hand in his and hauled my self into the seat, and buckled up.

To my right, Harry slammed to door shut and jogged around the the drivers side, and slid in as well. Looking across to me, he asked nicely, "So... Where would you like to go? I don't really know many places around here." He chuckled nervously.

"Uh well, there's a place around the corner, it's a little diner and they have the best milkshakes." I suggested. Then remembering something, I added excitedly, "Oh! And their burgers are to die for!"

Turning to Harry, I find him looking at me with awe across his features.

After a minute he comments, "You kow Leah, you're really beautiful when you smile."
