KENZIE SAT in the soft sand while the dirty blonde sat down next to her. they both stared at the sky that was painted with pinks and yellows and purples, it truly was a beautiful sunset.
"john?" mackenzie questioned. "yes mackenzie?" johnny replied. she turned to look at him and said, "are we in love....?" johnny's heart skipped a beat when she said that. his eyes softened and all he wanted to do was hug and kiss her a million times. he loved her with all of his heart. "mackenzie i love you. i'm in love with you. i want to marry you and build a future with you. you're the love of my life." he said and have a half smile. mackenzie's heart fluttered with every word he said. a big bright smile appeared on her face and she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, knocking him over with a hug.
"johnny i couldn't imagine loving anyone else but you. you're my best friend and my soulmate. i'm in love with you and i will never not be in love with you." he placed a kiss right on her lips and the couple enjoyed this moment that they would remember for years to come.
"ANNIE!!" carson yelled. "just leave me alone!" she ran away from the platinum blonde as he tried to chase after her.
"carson please! just stop!" annie cried. "annie stop running." he said in a soft voice. "this isn't working out." he deadpanned. she turned around with a tear stained face "we keep fighting." he said to her. "well of course!! carson i keep seeing other girls in your dms and then i find out you made out with someone at a party last week?! carson i'm in love with you and i tried to make it work. i really did. but this is just crossing the line." annie spit out while sobbing.
carson walked over her and put her hands in his. he smiled at her. "annie i'm in love with you to." she ripped her hands out of his and looked at him with disgust. "you're kidding me! you just ignored every word i said! i cant do this carson." annie felt tears streaming down her face and stuttered, "w-we're done." carson's mouth dropped. "and i suggest you leave fiji because once everyone finds out what you did, they aren't going to want you here." and with that, annie strutted away like a bad bitch🤤🤤🤤
but inside, she just felt like falling to the floor and crying. she wanted to run back and kiss him one more time. it's over, and it was for the best, she thought.

ANNIE BLINKED her eyes a couple times, wondering if she was just dreaming, or actually awake. did everything that happened last night really happen? she checked her phone. June 29, 8:44 AM. her 20th birthday, heartbroken and insecure. what fun it is to be annie leblanc. as she looked at her notifications, she saw 23 texts and 10 missed calls from carson. a tear ran down her cheek.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!!" kenzie screamed as she barged into annie's bedroom. she looked at the newly 20 year old and saw tears coming out of her eyes. "i'm hoping those are tears of joy?" kenzie said with pity written all over her facial features. annie shook her head and hid her face under the covers. "anns?? what happened?" kenzie said with sorrow drifting in her voice. "carson and i broke up. we keep fighting and i found out yesterday that...that he-he made out with another girl at a party." right as annie finished spitting out her sentence, buckets of tears came out of her eyes. kenzie's jaw dropped. "where is the whore??! i'm gonna drop kick his ass and throw him like a football all the way to the bermuda triangle." kenzie said as anger pulsed through her veins. "kenzie it's fine. please don't talk to him or acknowledge him. i don't want to think about it at all today." annie sighs. "don't worry anns. i'm gonna make this your best bday yet!!" kenzie smiles and skips out of annie's room. annie groans and hides under her covers, once again
