Daisy's POV

-Hours before Blake moves in-

The sign in front of the house begins to haunt me as big letter words get placed over the sign stating 'Sold', groaning loudly I catch my head in my palms, turning my petit structure away from the large clear window, drawing the curtains back over. Now having to deal with new peppy neighbors gave me a churn in my stomach, groaning again I dragged my body off the couch and to a new spot where the news won't agonize me. Setting my bleached blond hair out of my face I look around for my brother in which I swear was just next to me.

"Jason!" I would yell but not really hearing a reply afterwards, hauling my mass back off the other couch I walk towards the kitchen. I hearing lots of pots and pans clang together, course this was normal ; I knew I would find my younger brother in the kitchen fetching himself something to eat. "Jason, you think you'll be okay staying here watching over mom as I go out with my friends?" I would ask, taking an apple from its tropical island on the counter. He would lean back up from picking up a pan, turning his head and chuckled with a apple stuffed in his mouth. Soon he would smile, taking the pot to the sink and running off. Laughing, I would throw the rest away suspecting there was no point in me eating it anymore.

Its been about a few hours since I left the house, the cafe tended to be a nice area to just hang out with the girls but we would normally go to the skate park, pulling out new tricks we would soon master. Lilly in which I call baby sips her cappuccino and looks at me with a small frown. "Daisy you look terrible, whats wrong dear?" She would start, putting the steaming cup down onto a coster. I give a quick shake but I know they think its a lie yet they tend to leave me alone anyways.

"Y'all hear of the transfer student?"

Another friend of mine starts, I call her Lullaby, her thick western accent would sometimes slip right through her. "Oh yeah, they said the transfer is h-o-t hot!" Baby would exclaim making her dark brown curls lightly bounce.  Giggling I start to wonder...no not possible. Taking a sip of my coke, I get up off the chair and begin to put my coat on. "Well ladies I believe thats all the things I need to know for today." My arms would immediately stretch forward as the ache they gained slowly went away. Both girls had already retrieved their bags and where waiting for my next move.

Heading out the door, I breath in the cold polluted air feeling my lungs shrink and shortened after breathing back out. "Hey can we stay at your house fo' the night? Momma don' want me staying out this late without spending-"

"Yes." I would reply back to Lullaby and slightly shiver, it was getting colder but it was only about mid November so our town wouldn't get any snow but only really strong winds and cold rain. Walking quickly my friends and I huddle together so we would warm up, I could already see my hot breath evaporate into the wind.

We get to my house a few minutes later, seeing the moving truck I instantly frown and stop walking making my friends jerk back and gasp. "Oh whose that?" Lullaby says seeing a guy at least 6'3 with black hair step out of the car. I catch my breath, biting my lip. "My new neighbors.." I watch him as he tests out the stairs to the porch, putting his foot over it and balancing. "Lets get inside.." Orders Baby, clearly by her attitude she possibly wasn't fond of him. Clearing my throat we all hurry into the house.
