INTRODUCTION ( THE BEGINNING )
CATORI BLACK HAD BEEN DEVASTATED BEFORE. She had been twelve years old when both of her parents died in an animal attack and she was left orphaned with only an uncle to turn to. But, her uncle had no room to look after her and so was incredibly grateful when Charlie Swan quickly took her in to raise her as his own. Moving away from La Push had been difficult at first but, she had soon become adjusted to living in Forks. Catori had no idea that her home would be entirely subverted by the return of Charlie's daughter, Bella.
PAUL LAHOTE WAS A HOT-HEAD. His life was turned upside down when he phased, his emotions were more intense and he couldn't see his friends anymore. People hated him - he knew that. But, it didn't make it any easier that he wish they knew that everything he did was to protect the reservation. Paul had heard the legends of the Third Wife and he had witnessed the imprint bond between his alpha, Sam Uley, and his fiance Emily but, he had got it in his head that it simply wasn't on the cards for him. At least something good came out of Bella Swan hanging around Jacob Black.
