Damon's Pov
I watched Elena dance with Stefan at the party my heart fell apart. She crushed my heart when she chose Stefan. Stefan is her epic love. I had one her name was Amelia Johnson. I left because I was being selfish and wasn't thinking of her. That was 3 years ago. I was going to ask her to marry me, then her dad started talking.
*Flashback*
"Dad I love him" Amelia screamed.
"Focus on what you want to do with your life not run around with some man" Her dad screamed.
"There is no life without him dad!" She screamed.
"If you wanna be pregnant at 20 go ahead!?!?" Her dad screamed.
I decided to walk up to her door. She heard me.
"Hey baby I have to tell you something." She said.
"I'm leaving town." I said
"What you can't leave I'm-!" She screamed at me.
"No I don't love you anymore!" I said
"What?!?!" She screamed.
With that I started walking away with the sound of my heart breaking hearing her crying.
*End of Flashback*
