I get up mumble nonsense, my usual self in the morning. But im especially grumpy because my sleep was inturrupted by my annoying alarm on my phone. Why did I pick the rooster alarm and why did it go off? I take a look at my phone:
8:33 Am, Monday
"Crap!" I yell. "i'm gonna be late for school!"
Ugh why didn't my mom wake me up! When I put on my clothes and rush downstairs, I get my awnser.
On my kitchen table there was a note that read:
Peggy,
Your mom and I have an emergency meeting at work. Hope you get to school okay.

Well that explains it.
I rush to the bathroom and apply my makeup, then put a bagel in the toaster.
"Ugh hurry up bagel!" I randomly yell at the bagel. I suddenly realise wait a minute.. Why am I yelling at a bagel?
I throw my textbooks into my bag. "BEEP BEEP!"
"Ah! the bus is here!"
I grap my toast, shove it into a plastic bag, grab my purse and run out the door.
"Fashionably late?" My best friend Layla asks jokingly as I take a seat beside her.
"I wish." I say back with a giggle.
"Just a hectic morning, my parents had to go to an emergency meeting at work and I my alarm woke me up."
"What? the perfect girl had a tough morning?" Layla fake gasped.
"Haha verry funny Lay." I say.
In what seems like five minutes, we get to school.
I'm off the bus and standing in front of the school when I see the handsome Jake pull into the school parking lot in his truck. I can't help but smile when i see his face.
"Hey." He says with his sweet voice.
"Hey." I say back.
"Wanna go inside?" He asked
"Sure." I said.
We walk in, hand in hand, stop at our lockers and go to english.
What a good ending to a hectic morning.
