No Guidance

I went across the street and walked into the store prepared to do this one last job. I was only sixteen yet i had a resume longer than a line at chipotle. I walked in, watching my surroundings closely.  I kept my hands in my pocket and my backpack zipped on my back. "Do this for me baby. Do this for us" he told me. Yeah 'Ight. He meant do it for him. Selfish ass.

Yet i keep loving him. I'm a damn fool. But not a dumb one. I got money saved so when I'm ready to go, i can go. You know when you love somebody but you can't trust them to be everything you need. You love them but you know love isn't enough and isn't going anywhere. This was one of those moments.
Meccah had a way of getting his way regardless of what stood in the way. Man had the gift of gab and could talk a nun out of her underwear. That's what he had done to me.

I went to the candy aisle and examined a Hershey's mr. Goodbar. I knew i didn't really care for candy like that but i pretended to anyway to distract from my real goal. Where the fuck was Gem at. His ass was always late.

Gem later walked in casually looking around. At least he immediately jumped into character. Gem was Meccah right hand man. They was as close as thieves and i admired that. Many people couldn't tolerate Mec' for a long time without either jumping off the building or breaking their bonds. He often said real ones don't need a lot of friends. Really he meant he couldn't keep them but it's meccah's world and we're just living in it. I walked to the register with my Arizona fruit punch and two bags of M&M's.

Ready for the plan to carry out i let the lady ring my items up. She smiled at me while trying to converse but i really wasn't in the mood for all that. In exactly ten seconds, Mec' was storming the store and forcing the owners to sign their lease over. He claimed he needed the store as warehouse storage and a legal front. I thought it was selfish and he could've just bought a space. But he wanted things the way he liked em so i didn't complain.

I watched the lady place the items in the bag as i saw Mec' in the corner of my eye enter the store with his mask on and gun waving. Lo', Gail, Redz, and Addy blocked the door off.
