" We've got to get out of here!!!" Yelled my sister Karissa
"But Karissa we have to try to save some of our stuff PLEASE" I begged her
She grabbed my hand and we ran inside of the burning pack house. She looked at me and mind linked me *5 minuets meet me at my car.. HURRY* With that I ran off to me and my sisters room. I looked around frantically and finally found some suite cases and duffel bags. I ran around our room and started grabbing anything and everything that would fit into the bags. Once the bags were full I took one last look at our room and ran down the stairs to grab the pictures around the house as fast as I could. I know some people would already be gone. But i'm not going to lose EVERYTHING I had because of a fire and rouges. As soon as I couldn't carry more things I mind linked my sister * Where are you!?!* As I waited for an answer I got outside and didn't need a answer because I already saw her.
She was kneeling besides our parents dead bodies sobbing. I went over next to her and dropped the stuff I was carrying and picked her up.
" Come on Karissa lets go..." I was trying to hold back the tears but soon I felt my face wet and my sister wiped away the tears.
" Your right come on" She picked up the stuff she gathered and as we were running to the car we heard a loud crash and wood breaking. We looked back at the same time to see the house collapsing into a heap on the grassy floor. I winced and turned back around, I looked at my sister and she was silently crying. I suddenly noticed something shiny poking out of her pocket.
" Karissa what's in your pocket?" I said still staring at it
" I'll explain later" She said in a voice that was barely above a whisper.
I just nodded and turned towards the window and watched as everything we once knew as our home disappeared. I started thinking of my parents and started crying. I didn't evening get to say goodbye... Before I fell asleep I started humming Safe And Sound by Taylor Swift. It reminded me of my mom. When I would get hurt she would say to me "Just close your eyes, you'll be alright" I wiped away a tear and fell asleep.

When I woke up all of the memories of earlier whipped through my mind. I felt suddenly very sad and I looked over at my sister who's eyes where red and puffy from crying.
"Sissy where are we?" I asked her trying to be as nice as I could
"Where in a small town called Valley Falls" She sounded SO tired
" We should find a hotel so we can get some rest and we can figure everything in the morning" I suggested knowing that she would agree with me.
She didn't say anything just nodded and kept driving.
*30 minuets later*
We had finally arrived at a hotel and we tiredly carried the stuff that we would need for tonight up to our room. We had room B26. I looked around and finally caught sight of it. I smiled happy that we would finally be able to sleep. Then I turned around and gently tugged on my sisters arm and pulled her to our room.
I tried to hide my laughter as my sister just dropped on her bed like a dead man. She just walked straight in and dropped her stuff. I rolled my eyes and walked over to her bed and pushed her up to where she had a pillow under her head.
I deiced that I would be EXTRA nice to my sister and put away our stuff. After 35 minuets of putting stuff away and organizing. I smiled to my self and patted my self on the back.I turned around and immediately went to my bed and plopped down.
"This is gonna be hard on the both of us sissy" I whispered to myself before I feel completely asleep
