*Peyton's POV*

As soon as Mr. Reyes comes into view of the employees who are working at their desks, everyone stops what they're doing and stands. I immediately felt self-conscious, but then I realized all eyes were on him.

All the women are just about drooling over him. I can't help but notice their skimpy "professional" outfits. It's quite obvious they are all dying for their boss's attention. Even some of the men were gawking at him.

Mr. Reyes acted as if he didn't even seem to notice. He just continued walking with purpose without glancing anyone's way.

As soon as we stepped into the elevator, everyone took their seats and resumed where they left off.

'What was that all about...?'

In the elevator, Mr. Reyes pressed floor 4.

"They respect me." He answers my unasked question as if he read my mind. "I have a meeting in 2 minutes." He says while staring straight ahead at the silver doors.

I immediately pull out my notebook and begin taking notes.

"I expect you to come to every meeting and take notes. After words, I need you to write a report." He explains. "The report should be thoroughly revised, and spell checked before turning it into me.

He turns to look at me. "I do not want to have to return it to you for it to be rewritten. I do not have time to be wasted." He says firmly.

I nodded my head, "Understood sir."

He continued to look me in the eye until we reached floor 4. He nodded back before stepping off the elevator.

We were the last ones into the meeting room. There was a huge window overlooking the city. In the center of the room was a long table with men seated all around it.

"Good afternoon gentleman." Mr. Reyes says as he enters the room. "Thank you all for coming. Let's get this started." He makes his way to the front of the room.

I quickly take a seat and begin my notes, starting with the date and time.

Mr. Reyes began his speech. He talked and moved with pure confidence and the sense of power just radiated off of him. While he talked about possible new deals and plans it seemed as if he had everyone under a spell. It was quite clear all these businessmen admired the man.

As the meeting came to a close, I finished up my notes as Mr. Reyes shook hands with all the men as they left the room.

I stood up and walked over behind him.

"Ms. Davis," He finally said. "I'll take you to your office."

Back on floor 99, we stop at a single door. Mr. Reyes turns the door handle and ushers me inside.

I look around and take in my surroundings. Directly in front of me is my desk and behind it there is my own window that goes from the floor to the ceiling. To the right there is a bookshelf with two reading chairs near it and to the left there is a loveseat and a coffee table, that matches my desk, in front of it.

Though it was smaller than Tiffany's, it was more than I could have ever dreamed of having.

"You should get started on the report." Mr. Reyes interrupts my thoughts. "There are also files on your desk that are to be finished by the end of the day."
