~Momo POV~

I'm so excited!

Today is the day Kyoka is taking me on another date, because of our busy school life's it is hard to find the time to go out together. So I was more than thrilled when she asked me a few days ago.

I finished getting ready. The floral sundress I was wearing coming down to my knees as the light makeup I had on gave my cheeks a slight rosey colour.

A sudden knock came at my door. I knew that it must be Kyoka so I rushed to answer it. After opening the door swiftly my eyes landed on my short girlfriend.

Oh God, my girlfriend.

She was standing there in a lose purple tank top and black denim short shorts. Her arms were folded with a black cat teddy being against her chest.

A faint blush appeared on her cheeks as she held the soft cat out to me saying with a cute stutter, " I-I got this f-for you Yoa-momo."

It was adorable how even though we had been dating for a while she still got like this at the start of a date. "Thank you." I mumbled, gently taking the plushie from her as a light blush a appeared on my own cheeks.

I walk over to my over-sized bed to place the cat in the centre of my pillows before I go back over to Kyoka. She was twisting she earphone jacks around each other, which is a tell for when she is nervous. I smile and grab her hand, " Shall we go?" I ask politely.

She looked up at me a smile spreading across her own lips before she gave me a small nod. I quickly close my door before Kyoka leads me down the stairs to the common room. 

There were only a few people in the common area at this time, a couple in the kitchen and some were in the lounge space on their phones. Unlucky for us Mina was one of the people on their phones' and she just loved teasing us about our relationship. She would never be mean she does it quite a playful but still embarrassing way.

She smirked before asking, " How is my favourite couple of 1-A?"

We both blush deeply and before either of us reply a voice rang out from the kitchen,"Ribbit.
Leave them alone Mina." The owner of the voice, Tsu, entered the lounge just after saying that.

I silently thank Tsu and Mina sighs in protest and goes back to her phone. Kyoka rushes into the kitchen and after a few seconds comes out with a picnic basket.

A small smile creeps across my lips. My, she was adorable. The blush went back to my face as soon as she came back over to me and took my hand in hers.

The walk to the park was one filled with chatter about every thing happening at school and the general drama of our class mates. It wasn't long before we were on top of one of the taller hills in the park.  This was the place with some of the best views in the whole park.

Kyoka placed the basket to her side before rummaging through it to take out the blanket she had packed to sit on. Once again opening the basket she took out a few things to snack on such as sandwiches, Crisps and fruit.

I gingerly sat down on the blanket while folding my legs behind me. It wasn't long before kyoka came sitting crossed legged at my side.

"What a lovely place to take me." I happily sigh as I lean my head onto the shorter girl's shoulder. She momentarily stiffens at the sudden contact but soon relaxes, resting her own head against mine.

We began chatting again about a bit of everything while we nibbles on the food Kyoka prepared. After a while and quite a bit of the snacks we fell into a silence. Not an awkward one, actually, it was quite a comfortable silence.

"Why do you like me?" Kyoka suddenly asked breaking the silence.

Her question confused me at first but then I realised that she can't see herself the way I see her.

"Well," I say taking her hand, " Let's see, you're kind, funny, brave and so beautiful. You always get a twinkle in your when you talk about something you love and you never let anyone mess with you or push you around. You stick for me and most importantly you're not afraid to just be you." I finished turning so that I was facing her.

Kyoka's shocked expression was tinted with a deep shade of red. Her hand came up to cup my cheek as she leans forward to place a light fluffy kiss on my lips. This isn't the first time we had kissed but it never failed to give me butterflies every time we do.

"Thank you that is exactly what I needed to hear." She moves forward and whisperers the next part in my ear. "Love you."

I must have be a tomato by now but I quietly said, " I love you too." As a smile occupies my face.

After that I help kyoka pack away what was left of our picnic and walked back to the dorms hand in hand. Before long we were standing outside my dorm room saying a tender see you later. After a few words and a peck on the lips, I was in my room on my own sighing in delight.

Jumping into my bed I grab the cat plushie Kyoka gave me earlier and hugged it to my body tightly. I lay in bed thinking to myself, how did I get such a sweet girlfriend.
