"you're..my sister."
Carlos said, slowly.
"and you're my brother."
Eve said, giving him a small smile. Then she ran towards him, and hugged him tightly, almost tackling him to the ground.

He hugged her back tightly.
But what they didn't know, that they were being watched, by someone who wants to get rid of Evelyn.

The siblings continued to hug each other tightly, not daring to let go.
But the figure disappeared.

In Another Place :

"Remember when you told me that you need a victim to threaten Evelyn ?"
"Of course I remember, did you find one ?"

"yes, and no."
"Which is it then ?"
"I found a victim, but he doesn't live in Rosebush. He lives in Auradon."
"Even better. Who is he ?"

"Carlos DeVil."

In Another Place :

Carlos ran towards his dorm, to find Jay sitting on his bed, doing nothing.
Jay looked up.
"Hey, how was the walk ?"
"It was..nice."

He hesitated. Should I tell him ? He thought.
Yes. A voice in his head said clearly.
"well, I have to tell you something."
Carlos said slowly.

"What is it ?"
His friend asked, rather curiously.
"well, I met someone when I was heading to Elton Lake."
Jay looked up to him.
"who ?"

"I met Queen Evelyn. You were right, she's my older sister. And she ran away when I was only six."
"..you know I was just kidding, right ?"
Carlos sat on his bed, and Dude the Dog sat on his lap.

"well, I'm not. The locket was hers, like you said."
"Dude, this can't be right. I was saying it to let the thought out of your mind. How come what I said was true ?"

Carlos looked up to him.
"Look, You can come with me to Elton Lake next Friday, so you can meet her."
"You already arranged meetings ?"

Carlos nodded.
"She's really nice, nicer than we all thought by the way, and when she found out, she just..hugged me."
Jay smirked, as Dude continued to waggle his tail.

"by the way, did the truth gummy finally wear off ?"
"Nope, your conversation was so interesting. I was just listening to it."
Dude said, getting a pat from Carlos.
"also, do you have any cookies ?"

"Dude, I just fed you like an hour ago."
Jay said, realizing that it has been an hour already since Carlos left.
"but there's no way you're going to meet the princess without me."
The dog added.

"She's a queen. And Carlos, she might be afraid of dogs, like you were."
"Not fair, I have to see if she's pretty or not."
"oh, I can assure you. She's very pretty."
Carlos said, smirking at Jay and Dude.

"well, I'm going. Just like him ."
"Dude, really ? She can be terrified."
"I'm not taking no for an answer."
The two friends rolled their eyes at the dog.

In Another Place :
Rosebush Palace :

"your majesty, you're very late !"
"I apologize for that, Lisa. I met someone while I was at The Place."
Eve said, sitting on the bed.
"may I know who's that ?"
Lisa asked curiously.

"yes, I'll tell you everything."
Eve smiled.
