When I got to the cafeteria I sat at my normal table with my friends. Scott, Issac, and Mae were talking about soccer. While Jasmine was just eating her lunch. Issac Noah Keller has been like my brother since I meet him, 3 years ago. He had black low fade and twisted curls and dark brown eyes. Issac was wearing a black shirt with a pair of dark blue pants and some dark blue shoes.
"Hey, Liz" Issac waved.
"Hey how are the soccer teams doing Issac," I said Issac.
"It's been three years, call me Noah," he said
"But I like Issac," I said giving my best puppy dog eyes.
"Plus you call me by my middle name," I said.
"She's got a point," Mae said.
"Right and that's why I still let you call me that. Also the puppy dog eyes." "Well it's the quarterfinals," he said.
"Which means there are only 8 teams left," Scott said.
"That's cool" I smiled.
They started talking about who would make it to the semifinal and then the final. I was talking to Jasmine about going shopping. Which reminded me,
"Hey so are yall going to whats her face party Friday?" I asked randomly.
"You mean Jessica's?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah I mean her," I said.
"Sure," Mae said
"I'm down," Issac shrugged
"Why not," Scott said
"Ok girls shopping tomorrow after school?" I asked. They both nodded. Then the bell rang and we went to the rest of our classes. Issac is a senior also the only one who could drive. So he would drive me home every day.
"Bye Issac" I waved to him while walking inside. Before I close the door I hear him say
"Bye Elizabeth"
I walked into my house a went straight to my room. Once I put all my stuff away my dad called me down.
"Coming Dad," I yelled running down the stairs.
Once I made my way downstairs I saw my dad and Mia sitting on the couch.
"Whatever you heard I didn't do it," I said while putting my hands up in surrender. Sometimes I can get into a little bit of trouble with my friends but I didn't do anything recently.
"You're not in trouble" Mia giggled.
"We have a surprise for you," my dad said. "You got accepted to be an exchange student in Spain" my dad continued.
"OMG, OMG, OMG" I just kept repeating those three letters. I couldn't believe it.
My dad got up and hugged me. "I know how you have always wanted to go to Spain but I'm going to miss you little monkey."
"I'm going to miss you too dad." I hugged him back. "I'm going to miss you too Mia," I said motioning her to join the hug. She got up and hugged my dad and me. We stopped hugging and I pulled Mia into a hug. Just the two of us.
"I want you to know I love you" I whispered in her ear.
"I know, I love you too and I want you to know I would never try to replace her," she said. She was talking about my mom. She passed away in a car accident.
"Oh my god I have to tell my friends," I said running up the stairs. I heard them laughing.
I texted my friends and told them to meet me at the park in 10 minutes.
