JJ's p.o.v

I was in class. It was 4th lesson. I couldn't wait to meet under the stairs! I had an actually friend group! I knew people only used me for protection anyways...
One of my old friends started to talk to me. "Hey man! Wanna meet at lunch today? Me and Jacob will wait for you! We'll play football or something!" He had an attitude. I knew James truly. He was a cunt. He was only nice to me so I didn't box him.

"Nah man. I'm going to be under the stairs" I replied as I dug my head into my work. "I'll be down there then" he said as he smiled at me. I didn't smile back. "You can't..." I said without looking up. "Why not?" He gave me a bit of a dirty look but I didn't care. "Because my other friends don't know you man, you aren't part of the group" I said getting a bit annoyed at this point. "Then I'll get to know them! I at least know Tobi" he smiled. "Nah man, it's not like that, you can't just walk in and go for a few days and join, we all have a special connection that you'll never understand" I raised my voice a bit.

"KEEP IT DOWN BACK THERE!" The teacher screamed. "Sorry miss, JJ was distracting me" he looked at me with a smug face. "JJ. Don't distract my pupils otherwise it's a detention" Miss calmed her voice down. Giving me a warning. "Yes miss" I said as I put my pen on the paper and continued to work.

The lesson ended. Finally! I spoke to myself. I walked out the class and slid under the stairs. "Hi JJ" Harry smiled. "Hi Harry" I replied. I heard Jacob outside the stairs. "Oh hey JJ! Didn't see you there! You with your friends?" He smiled sarcastically "fuck off Jacob" JJ threatened. "Can I see if anyone else is in here?" He came closer. I grabbed his shirt. "You heard me...I said...Fuck Off" he threw him back. "Shit" he stumbled into the wall. "You've changed JJ" he said as he and his friends helped him up. "I haven't changed at all! You think I changed because I'm no longer your friend!" JJ shouted at Jacob. Jacob scrunched his face up "fuck you JJ! Fuck you!" He walked away with his friends. JJ came back under the stairs and smiled. "Shit" Simon said as he smiled at JJ. "That was awesome" Josh said as JJ had a beaming smile painted across his face.

"Well I just want to protect you guys you know, you're my friends, true friends, if that means loosing other friends then I'm willing to take that sacrifice"
JJ smiled as they all hugged under the stairs.
