MADELINE HARGROVE, the used to be new girl in hawkins, indiana, was holding will byers hand while waiting on waiting on mike wheeler. finally, the curly black haired boy came and madeline groaned and started to walk
"mads, you have the audacity to talk, remember when you and will were late to your own birthday party?" the boy made the whole group laugh. will and her blushed. the may or may not had a quick makeout session. well it turned out to be longer. no biggie.
"maybe i wanted romantic time with my girlfriend!" will said and mike made a gagging noise.
"i'm spending a romantic time with my girlfriend," lucas wrapped his arms around max and mike gagged again. mike kept ringing the bell until,
steve opened the windows to see the usual five kids waiting on him. steve snuck the kids behind scoops ahoy to the movie theater. that way the would not have to pay to get in anymore.
"i swear if anyone here's about this-- we're dead!" the kids finished the rest of the sentence. once they got settled will took a bunch if sodas out of his backpack and passed them to them.
the movie was starting and just before any really good parts happen the mall was pitch black. everyone in the mall was groaning or quietly waiting for it to come on, will was feeling his neck. she touched him and he jumped, soon as he did that the movie came on.
"you alright?" she asked her boyfriend he nodded his head yes quickly she turned away from him to watch the movie, soon she fell asleep on will's shoulder. madeline jumped out of her bed from the voices on her walkie.
"guys i'm coming back today! c'mon speak to me you bastards!" henderson yelled into the device she got up and put on some clothes. billy and her father were already arguing over something at the dinner table. she crept down the hall and saw him constantly punch him.
"move, you son of a bitch!" she yelled. he got closer to her like he was about to hit her, the girl grabbed the nearest weapon and that was a vase and she knocked him out. that was gonna give them some time to leave the house.
billy hugged her just before maxine came in. max knew what happen but, it wasn't her place to comment. the two ran outside and got their bikes. the rode down the street and got the spare key under the mat, the two walked in and lucas hugged max.
will pulled madeline in for a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. she grabbed a blowout and put it in her pocket. the kids heard a sound of keys and they hid behind the wall after hearing his footsteps towards his room.
"now!" mike whispered, eleven used her powers to make some of his toys move directly to his living room, he followed the toys with the spraycan in his hand. mike did hand signals one, two, three! the kids blew the horns and lucas got his eyes sprayed
madeline slowly backed away from the awkward moment. lucas and max went to go clean his eyes out. while the rest of them were in dustins room he was showing them cool things he made at summer camp.
"i would like you to meet cerebo," he grunted when he opened it up to this big ham radio thingy it's cool. dustin was explaining until the sentence he said which made everyone look.
"i can talk to my girlfriend whenever or wherever i want," madeline was happy for the boy it seemed like every body doubted him but, dustin is so precious, wholesome & adorable also very intelligent, he made her look like an idiot sometimes. it's been over an hour that the group was walking.
"it's been fun in all but,-- i have to go home," eleven and mike were lying they left the rest of the group and dustin looked mighty pissed now.
"curfew at four?-- they're lying-- it's been like this all summer-- it's bullshit!" they all said something and walked up the hill.
it was getting dark and everyone was laying on the grass except dustin he was still trying to contact suzie. madeline yawned loudly she was tired
"so, um-- WHEN THE HELL IS SHE GONNA ANSWER?" lucas interrupted the girl's sentence. dustin kept saying the same four words over again.
"dustin c'mon she's not there!" madeline huffed he was still denying the fact the suzie wasn't there. lucas finally said what everyone was thinking
"maybe suzie doesn't exist," dustin voice raised in a squeaky pitch to defend himself everyone was tired though. lucas got up then will was about to leave too.
"it's late sorry, maybe tommorow we can play dnd or something fun like we used to," dustin agreed. madeline got up and hugged will and kissed him on his cheek and he blushed.
"see you guys tomorrow, and welcome home," will walked down the hill now it was just mads and dusty. she didn't wanna go home anyways so she was staying with dustin for a little while.
chatter finally came on the machine, madeline got up and stood next to dustin. they couldn't hear any words.
"holy shit did we-- interrupt a line?" the kids listened to the russian man speak the same thing constantly. both of the teens were shocked what if some spooky shit was happening?
