The New Alpha

<Chapter 7>

Aaron finally came over after dancing to my songs in the mirror for an hour. He just made fun of me since he could see me through the window. I got my phone and keys and we walked to his car.

"So where are we going?" I asked "not telling" he smirked "please tell meeeee" I begged "you will see when we get there" he added and my ears flopped "pwease tell me" I tried again to get him to tell me and he just turned the radio on.

-time skipz-

I was just staring out the window when I saw colourful lights. I noticed we where getting closer until Aaron parked his car in the car park of a carnival. I jumped out the car with my tail wagging like crazy "I take it your excited" Aaron smiled and stood next to me "well duh, I've never been to a carnival before! This is so cool!" I jumped up and down and Aaron laughed "save your energy will ya?" He walked ahead to buy the tickets, we got wristbands and I ran into the carnival with a smile. "What do you wanna do first?" Aaron asked "uhhhh" I looked around.

"Let's do the wheel!" I smiled since it seems to be the best thing to do first to get a view of the whole carnival. We where walking towards the wheel when I saw someone if familiar blue ears...

Is that? It wouldn't be Ein, Jax and Ryder aren't here so I can't be.

"(Y/N)?" Someone called from behind us, turns out it was Ryder "RYDER! What are you doing here?" I hugged him "same reason your here" he smiled "are you here with Jax?" I asked "yeah him and your brother went to go get snacks, I said I'll hold their place in line... didn't know you'll be here" Ryder smiled and looked at Aaron "got yourself a date eh?" He smirked and I could tell my face went bright red because Ryder laughed at me "I-it's not a d-date" I smiled awkwardly "totally is" Jax walked over to us "shut up Jax" I rolled my eyes and Aaron just laughed but then stopped "I thought you couldn't make it (Y/N)" Ein said and I hugged him "I didn't know I was coming here... Aaron never to-" I got stopped "Aaron?" He looked at me confused then up at Aaron "ahh long time no see" Ein smirked "same" Aaron scoffed "you two know each other?" I asked "sadly yeah" Ein rolled his eyes "How?" I tilted my head "you never told me you knew anyone other than Jax and Ryder" I pointed out "Aaron and I went the same school... but he left before I joined" Ein growled and Aaron did too.

It got really awkward between the two. Aaron gave up and walked off. I chased him calling his name but he didn't respond. "Aaron what's wrong?" I asked "it's just, Ein and I aren't the best at getting along" he sighed "oh, I never knew, I'm sorry" I apologised "sorry for what?" He tilted his head "for not knowing..."  I looked at the floor and Aaron laughed "you didn't know, you didn't do anything wrong" Aaron smiled and I returned it "hey, I bet ya I can beat you at that basket ball game" I pointed at the basket ball game where you yeet the ball into the hoop (idk what it's called and that's my friends explanation of the game so roll with it) "your so on shortie!" Aaron ruffled up my hair and walked towards the game.

"Ok fine your good at the sporty games" I rolled my eyes "sports is what I'm good at though" Aaron smiled and handed me a wolf stuffed animal and I looked at him confused "I've got no use for stuffed animals" he smiled "uh, t-thank you?" I looked at Aaron then the wolf "wanna do that wheel now?" He asked "if you feel like it" I smiled and he took my hand and walked towards the Ferris wheel, lucky us there was no line since everyone was already on.

We got on the next available cart and I sat opposite Aaron and the wheel started moving. I looked over at everything else that was there but felt someone stare at me, but it was a good stare, didn't feel like it was someone staring at me planning on killing me.

(Aaron POV)

(Y/N) was looking over the carnival probably planning on where to go next, she seemed so excited to be here, it was cute. "Can we go there next?" She pointed at a haunted house "your brave enough to point it out" I smiled "I've played many scary games before" she seemed determined "but having zombies come at you in real life is a lot scarier since there is no tv blocking their way of getting to you" I raised a brow "there's a thing called Virtual Reality where there is no barrier" she smiled "if your so determined then we will go there" I leaned against my hand with a smile "there is no way you'll make it through the whole house without getting scared" I rolled my eyes "you wanna bet?" She smiled "fine, if you get scared you gotta go on a proper date with me" I smiled and she went bright red. "F-fine but if I don't get scared... you gotta let me be in charge over what games we play if we have a video game night!" She jumped up "fine..." I smirked knowing that I'm probably gonna win...

I lost the bet... "never put a bet against me Mr.Confident!" She punched my arm lightly "that house wasn't even that scary to begin with... there were kids in there about the age of 5 and they didn't scream" I rolled my eyes "fine! Next weekend we're gonna go to the scariest haunted house that's next in town!" She looked so confident, I just smiled "fine then... our bet still hangs until then" I smirked...
