I stood there, not knowing what to do until...I saw feathers dropping down.

There was an owl, sitting there, staring deep into my soul.
Then, I heard a voice, "Are you the one who summoned me?" The voice was of a female and it seemed to be coming from that owl.
"Yes. I want to make a deal."
It might have been my imagination but its eyes seemed to glow a little.
"Are you sure? You cannot undo once you've made", it said.
At first, this might seem like a warning to turn back now but in fact....Its bait. Teasing your desire, strengthening your determination..eventually....convincing you.
I smirked, "Don't you doubt me. I, Alice Clifford, am ready to give up anything in order for my goals. And I want you to help me until I reach it!!"
"As you wish..." The owl said and flapped its wings. I shielded my eyes from the many falling feathers.
When I looked up again... There she was. Amidst the red. Clad in black. Bowing before me.
"I shall serve you until the time comes.... Young mistress," she said with atmost respect. But....
I could see it....
The sly smirk on her face that she didn't bother erasing.
