"Rohan, where are you?" An angelic voice echoed through the abandoned playground.
"Sana?" The said girl turned around to face the voice with the swish of her skirt. "Rohan!" She smiled and jumped on him and hugged him tightly. He smiled and did the same.
Sana frowned and quickly got up. "I can't feel you, Rohan..."
Rohan smiled and got up. "Come with me. I have got to show you something".
Sana frowned again but shrugged away the uneasiness when he took her by the hand and dragged her away from the playground.
"*pants* At least tell me, where are we going?" Sana was breathing very fast by now. She wasn't a good athlete, that was for sure.
"Look at you. That's why I tell you to exercise. We haven't come that far, chubby"
"Hey! I'm not chubby!" Sana ran after him. He quickly got away and teased her. Sana hoisted the white flag and stopped running.
"It was a nice chase" Rohan teased her. Sana only glared at him but gave up.
"I'm going home if you're not telling me where we are going", she makes a 'hmph' sound and looks away.
"Aw chubby. Come on. Don't you trust me?" Rohan looked at her. This time there was no teasing just a comfortable atmosphere.
"Please?" Sana nodded. Rohan threw punches in the air and again dragged Sana to where they were supposed to go.
There was a huge commotion where they were right now. It looked like a terrible accident happened only minutes ago and ambulance is still on the way.
Sana looked at Rohan only to be met by nothing. Sana frowned and looked here and there. She ran directionless.
Where are you? Sana thought.
I'm right here, Sana.
A voice echoed in her mind. She spun around the road. The rain started pouring.
Go to the accident site.
A voice again echoed. She wasn't sure if she should follow but she nodded to nothing and went to the accident site.
You are here.
She got shocked. She was with him all along. But he lays here barely alive. She ran with all her might to his body.
"Rohan!" She immediately squeezed him in a tight hug and smiled. "I can feel you Rohan. I still can. Come on. Live for me"
"Sana.." a raspy voice made Sana cry more
"Shh... Save your energy idiot. I'm not going anywhere and you aren't too" Sana cried. New tears kept resurfacing her cheeks.
"Listen to me.." Sana nodded.
"My father, he committed suicide last night due to debt... My mother passed away from heart attack along with my father... How was I supposed to clear the big debt, huh?... How was I supposed to keep you happy with me being like this? Let me go so that you could actually love someone. Let me go, someone will love you better..."
"I can't feel you... Rohan?"
He kissed her and said I love you and went to a deep sleep.
