Hating on a Creepypasta because they're "Too Creepy"

In all reality, these are stories meant to provoke fear and cause a sense of unease due to the usual dark and unsettling theme that consists of blood, murder, etc. They aren't supposed to be nice, friendly, good looking, or merciful like the fandom has distorted them to be, but here we are anyways with the ideal "Famdomized" Creepypastas. Despite the fact that the real scary pastas and the ones that were originally more creepier have been watered down to softer, probably stupider version of their real selves, people in the fandom consistently hate on a specific one for how "Creepy"
or "Scary" they are. It's understandable to dislike a fandomized Creepypasta because of their personality or maybe how they act or even their look is just downright unsettling and it's hard to accept.

But the number one annoying thing is when people say "I hate [Creepypasta], they're too creepy."
