People were running and screaming trying to get away. Smoke and fire filled the air as homes were destroyed and families separated.
I stood there shocked as the only place I knew. The place I called home was gone.
Michael came over to where I was standing and quickly closed the door.
The air people where planning on no survivors.
"What are we supposed to do know?" Josh asked.
"We need to escape." Michael answered.
I was too in shock to even speak.
"What about my family?"
"We'll have to leave them behind...They are probably already gone, Josh."
"Well I have to try!"
"Josh, we can't."
I finally chipped in "Okay, Josh, you and Michael will go to your house and get your family and Alex and I will figure out how to get out of here. Meet us at the willow." I explained
They all nodded there head in agreement.
"I love you, Emma." Michael said as he hugged me.
"I love you to, Michael." I said as I hugged back with tears in my eyes.
"Please be safe, and I'll meet you at the willow." I said as I hugged Josh.
"I will. I Love you." Josh said for only my ears.
I hugged him tighter at that point never wanting to let him go and whispered "I love you too."
Alex woke us up from our little moment. "Okay, we are wasting time!!"
I let go and told Josh and Michael goodbye.
Now it was time for Alex and I to come up with an escape plan.
It had been several minutes and we still had nothing.
"I've got it, we go to the mayor's house, the back way, and escape through the border line!" Alex exclaimed.
"Okay, but how are we supposed to meet the boys at the Willow?" I asked.
"You're right... Maybe we can go past the mayor's house and then go over the hill to the Willow where we can keep going out of town!!" Alex said
"Okay, good."
Well let's go.
