Don't leave me

Chapter 5

Lucy's POV

It's been months since the last time I talked to Natsu . I wonder how he's been these days , I wonder what he's doing these days . I never bother to call him since the last time we talked .

I was walking to work , like I always do , and I see Natsu's Friend Erza walk past me . I quick twirl around and stare at her as she's still walking and I call out her name . She then turned around to face me .

"Who are you " she had a confused face like she's never saw me in her life . I was frozen for a minute stunned she didn't recognized me .

"S-sorry I thought I knew you , I guess not " I lied and walked away . I brushed off the thought and just headed towards work .

Everyday I think about Natsu and how he made my life better for that short period of time until he left . I miss how he'd always cheer me up .

I arrived at work , it's become more and more like hell . I quit being a nurse 3 weeks ago and now I work at a grocery store . I couldn't continue being a nurse after Lisanna lost her life or when Natsu got to be let out .

I walked into the store to find it empty like always . I sighed and went to my post and waited for a customer .

Hours went by and it was pitch dark . Only a couple , a single mother with her child ,and a old lady stopped by for a few bags of food . I decided to clock out and head home .

It was quiet outside and nobody was around only a couple cars drove by . I remembered I had to go to the bank so I crossed the street heading for the small bank . I went in and waited in line behind three or four people .

Then I hear screams and cries coming from outside . But I thought it was nothing to worry about maybe the store was robbed , or someone got hurt , or someone commited suicide . I'd check it out after I deposit my money in the bank .

Then after the line got shorter there was a explosive sound and I turned to look that the whole front of the bank was on fire . thank god everyone was still in line and weren't close to the fire .

"FOLLOW ME THERES A EXIT IN THE BACK" the man yelled so he lead us to the back there where fighter fighters rushing from the exit but then another explosive sound happened and this time the whole building was in flames with us in it .

I looked around me to find people coughing from a lack of oxygen and some on the floor burned to death . Luckily I closest to the wall which was a area less damaged . Fighter fighters came towards people helping them in anyway possible . One of them came towards me having a mask on , I couldn't really see his face .

"Do you need help ma'am " he asked me I was speechless . With the smoke in my lungs I started to get really dizzy and fell to the ground and I was wheezing really bad . Then the lack of oxygen I started to black out .
