Chapter 2: The Libraries Of Our World

Rhys POV

As the human disappears behind the door, I nudge Noi. He jolts. "I'm up!" He yells but before he could say any more, I cover his mouth with my hand. "Quiet! The human- I mean Myra is sleeping, if we want to find her source of her power, we need to be stealthy and vigilant." I say to him in a hushed whisper. He nods and I remove my hand from his mouth. "I must head to report everything from today to Prince Asch, the more we learn about Myra and her friend. The more we will learn on humans." I say to Noi. "I'll go report it to Prince Asch, since you did the last time." Noi says childishly. "When did this- fine. Just try not to disturb the humans here, we need to remain in a low profile." I remind him. "Got it." He whispers back as he creeps out the door.

I go to the door of the sleeping Myra It wasn't fully closed so I technically am obliging by the rules of the door's sacristy, and won't be banished to the realm that Myra has been speaking of earlier. It had a large bed and on the side with Myra asleep, then some unusual totem dolls rested above her head. They seem inanimate, they must be all asleep then. I glance around the room, some warriors had been captured in her bedroom along with a desk to communicate through the same portals we use. Then I find her armour stash. There wasn't much besides her normal clothing, I reach to the back to find a box of some sort....

This must be her power source! I couldn't find any of the armour that looked identical to what Ava's power source had been. They were smaller, meaning that it wasn't as powerful.

Timeskip to Ava's apartment

I see Prince Asch, Pierce and Leif listening to Noi, within the humans walls. "And she fed us ice-cream. Telling us to sleep as she does something in the bathroom, only Rhys entered because I was- not raiding the fridge for ice cream of course." Noi says. "I see.... Rhys have you found her source of power yet?" Prince Asch asks as he looks to me.

"Yes." I reply holding up a pink-coloured piece of armour, it was shaped like a triangle but I still am confused to its purpose. "Have you confirmed this to be a power source yet?" Prince Asch asks. "Not yet, but there were some other intriguing things back in her room. If this isn't her source of power, there's many other magic items that I suspect are hidden across her room." I speculate.

"Ava.... -yawn-I can't find Rhys or...Noi... have you seen them? I won't want them getting into any -yawn- unneeded trouble..."

"They found out of or disappearance! Men!Disperse!" Prince Asch orders. "Don't forget to hide that thing!" Leif reminds me. I tuck it into a pocket of my clothing. We all walk through a wall, which was the main room. "Hm? Oh they're there. Why they're there, is what I have no idea of, and speaking of which, why were you all I dunno 'in the wall'?" Ava asks. "That's none of your concern, Ava." Prince Asch says harshly.

"Oh heeeeck no, this is my house so my rules. You warn me or Myra when you guys go off places, poor Myra was worried about Rhys and Noi." Ava complains as she grabs Myra in the process as Myra turns into a reddish colour. "I-I guess that's true in a way, I just wanted to- oh n-never mind." She stutters. "Now, we don't care whether meetings you have, just try warn us next time is all I'm asking." Ava says more calmly.

"We apologise for waking you ladies so early, if you don't mind, we were wondering where you locate your sources of power?" I ask in a calm matter. "Rhys! What are you doing?!" Leif pulls me back in a hushed shout. "Our best chances of survival would be to cooperate, without these human females, we'd be lost in this new world." I explain. "He has a point, we're better off here than dead." Pierce agrees. Leif sighs and let's go of me. "Well...." Myra begins and looks to Aphmau.

"Humans deprive their energy off food sources, others can deprive their motivation of being through special items. Be it either a treasured family airloom or something that motivates them to continue on." Myra explains. "An airloom you say.... what about this?" I ask holding up the hidden power source I found. Ava looks speechless and in shock along with Myra. "WHY DO YOU HAVE PANTIES?!" Ava yells embarrassed. "I found them in a drawer, is it another power source to a human?" I ask. "Irene's sake no! That's- thats....never mind!" Ava snatches the item off my hands. "If it's not a magic source what is it?" Noi asks. "I-It's like armour that humans wear to cover their....Ehem revealing parts to their bodies." Myra explains adjusting her 'glasses'.
